My wife, a professional on medical leave for cancer, was in Save-On Sa-Hali last Thursday morning. She was wearing a hoodie and comfortable pants and, because of her chemotherapy, was also wearing a mask, as she is immuno-compromised. Upon entering, she was discriminately profiled by the manager, who followed her around the entire store, as he pretended to greet his employees and then, when she was at the till, he stood behind her and watched as she rang her purchases through. This is egregious discrimination, and we will never shop there again. Shame on the employee who felt that such discriminatory behaviour was justified in saving Jimmy Pattison precious change.

Ya, it's fine aside from the ever-soaring cost of food shopping. I suppose they have a beer and wine store within, which is not common around here to have groceries and alcohol mixed. I'm all for it but some may feel differently either way that's what they have going on there as well as being a large grocery store it has just about everything I would suggest.

The produce in this store is just plain awful. One wonders if they purchase produce the other stores are donating

Place used to be a nice place to work. Non experienced managers how they got there is beyond me! Staff don't care about needs of shoppers place has gone downhill in a heartbeat. Head office seem to throe out to media best place to work! Lol not!

My mom was in the hospital and I wanted to send her a fruit basket and some flowers (I live in Alberta). I had checked prices at several different places (which were outrageously expensive) and then I called Save On Foods on Summit Dr. where I was connect to Joyce.
If there are any promotions available they should go to Joyce! Joyce was so kind, knowledgeable and helpful. She made a stressful situation so easy!
Oh but I am one of those customers that has to change something up at the last minute (we all hate those people). Then I was connected to Roseanna and again the service was amazing. Instead of being frustrated that the stupid customer was making last minute changes she was so kind and generous with her suggestions it made it so easy. Roseanna also deserves a promotion.
Thank you so much for your kindness ladies, you will forever be my first call if I need anything delivered in Kamloops!

Average as far as grocery store goes…but? I will say this? Most things a person needs? Is there, but? More costly for most things I needed.

The supervisor/manager( Saurabh, I believe, is his name) scheduled for the night (JUNE 16th, 9:30pm) was being immensely disrespectful and denied us service for no fault of ours. He was absolutely unprofessional and rude. Simply put, he harassed us.
I’m not letting this slide, it was totally uncalled for.
We were billing our groceries and the he came and stood behind us at a distance and was constantly looking at us, as my friend noticed him, he looked away and repeated the same again. As we were billing our food he said we had to bill our bag too which we knew about and we let him know about the same. We told him it wasn’t our first time there and that we knew what we had to do and also told him that him standing there and staring at us as we billed our groceries which made us feel extremely uncomfortable and was not necessary. He replied he was doing his job and got aggressive about it , he then walked up to us and started saying the same, raising his voice. TO TOP IT ALL, THE REST OF THE STAFF JUST STOOD THERE AND LAUGHED.
After this he refused service to us and said we had to leave. This was absolutely ridiculous and we left without our dinner for the night.
Never expected to get harassed at a store we’ve been coming to, since forever.
