Yikes ... it's scary how incompetent people who setup your accounts are here. None of my accounts are setup properly and they are offering no solutions ... Scotiabank is suppose to be one of canada largest banks but the banks here in kamloops are doing them no favors.

I have always been satisfied with Scotiabank's services, and I recently visited this bank in Kamloops during my vacation. I visited as a "Newcomer" to apply for a Credit Card. Throughout the consultation, I gradually became uncomfortable due to the unfriendly attitude and what seemed like repetitive and probing questions. His dismissive attitude was unbearable. I had visited the bank's website beforehand and made an appointment, and I brought all the necessary documents with me. However, the representative never once explained the Credit Card they have, and instead, he continued to ask questions about my personal information for a solid 30 minutes. It's a very unpleasant memory.

I simply want to find out who my branch manager is so that I can get my account manager to respond to requests. I think I'll be looking into alternative banking options.

This has been my home branch for years, they must have the worst management. Its always slow and they seem understaffed. On that note the staff generally seem in good spirits and friendly inspite of their apparent lack of managerial support and general incompetence of how the bank is run.The ATM is regularly down forcing a 2 minute errand to a 20 minute affair.

I was a little worried after reading all the reviews about this bank. But everything changed when I reached this branch. I have been extremely satisfied and happy with their service. All the personnel in this branch are knowledgeable, friendly and have a genuine interest in their customers which I appreciate. My experience with this bank has been very pleasant!

The business advisor at the Downtown Kamloops branch is impossible to reach once you setup your account. There is also no way to phone a reception desk directly at this bank, you will be routed to a call center with the promos of a call back, but as the business advisor is never in don’t expect a return call. Also, they don’t present the full amounts of your accounts on the internet banking, so if you want to pay bill make sure you go in to the branch, as already established you cannot phone.
