“I had an amazing experience with Lawtons Garage! I called this shop about an oil leak my truck was having. They told me to bring it down with no wait. Turned out all that needed to be done was the tightening of a couple fasteners on the transfer case. I wasn’t charged for anything! Will be recommending this shop to others.”
“Bought a used 1 ton cube van and OkaPro was on CarFax with all service history so I took it back to them for inspection all good. Next day flat tire into Kal Tire for tire repair and while in the Kal Tire shop they give me a quote for $3000 worth of front end work Kal Tire says van needs. WHAT? I called OkaPro and told them and sent the written report and quote they said bring it in asap for a free inspection which I did and there was nothing wrong with front end at all. Be careful full warning I avoided a scam and thank OkaPro for being so decent!”

“After ignoring some unusual sounds, smells, and general vehicle issues for a little longer than I should have, my dashboard finally flashed a “check engine” light and I brought my car to RPM last Monday.
I was greeted by Alex with a smile and a welcoming demeanor. I explained my concerns—somewhat sheepishly—and was reassured they would take a look and let me know what the issue (or, let’s be honest, issues) were. I had been a customer before, so I already felt confident my car was in good hands.
A few hours later, Alex called with an update. She started by asking how my day was going. I joked that it was probably going better before her call. She laughed and immediately reassured me that things weren’t as bad as I feared, which instantly eased that sinking feeling in my stomach.
Alex clearly explained what was causing my car to “clunk,” “smell funny,” and “feel weird” (my words, not hers), provided a detailed quote including tax, and gave me a clear timeline for pickup. During the 24-point inspection, she also flagged a future repair and gave me the option to take care of it now or later—no pressure.
What really stood out was how she communicated everything in a way that was easy to understand for someone who isn’t well-versed in automotive issues.
She even followed up later to say something didn’t quite sit right based on my original description, so she had another technician take a second look. That level of care and attention is rare.
It takes a special skill to translate a customer’s vague, part-sound-effect, part-pantomime description into an accurate diagnostic report, and Alex absolutely has that skill. Every company should have an Alex.

“I own a 2010 VW Jetta with a DSG transmission. It inadvertently kept changing into neutral while driving. The VW dealer said the entire DSG transmission needed replacing at a price of $7500.oo from Germany. I asked for a quote on a secondhand DSG transmission and was met with the question, Why would you inherit someone else problem? Tom and Cam figured it out and a mechatronic unit was replaced. Tom was able to recode without exclusive VW proprietorship. Cost lower than quoted. Great service.”

Glenn was extremely helpful! He did a complete service and took his time. The dedication he showed to providing good service allowed him to find a few issues I wasn’t even aware of. I’m not a car person, and Glenn took the time to explain the issues with my car in a way that I was able to understand. He’s a phenomenal mechanic, and was able to solve a faulty rear light issue that even the Audi dealership couldn’t fix.
Would recommend Sundance to anyone and everyone, especially those with German cars.
