I've been a loyal customer of BMO for over 20 years, but my recent experiences have been incredibly frustrating. Despite repeated attempts to address issues with my account, including being overcharged for extra transactions, the branch staff failed to provide adequate assistance. Despite assurances that the problem had been resolved, I continued to be charged exorbitant fees month after month.When I finally went to the branch to express my dissatisfaction and explore options, I was met with dismissive and unhelpful responses. Instead of addressing my concerns, I was simply handed my cash without any attempt to retain my business. After two decades of banking with them, I expected better customer service and support.In contrast, my experience with TD has been refreshing. The staff have been attentive and courteous, making the transition smooth and hassle-free. If you're fed up with BMO's lackluster service, I highly recommend switching banks. While I acknowledge that not all BMO branches may have the same issues, my personal experience has left me feeling relieved and satisfied with my decision to switch.

I don’t understand why they can’t put an extra person, when they know how busy they’re gonna get. I go to this bank 2 or 3 times a week. Every single time there is a huge lineup and only 2 cashiers serving them. I feel so bad for the old people standing in the queue for an hour. It’s just ridiculous. I have seen so many people just turning around for not waiting in the lineup for hours.The manager needs to do something about this. If he/she even cares about their customers.

Just having troubles understanding the customer service portion of this Branch! Entered branch at approx. 10:40, one teller aprox. 12 people in line. After 20 mins, still one teller, and I am now 7 th inline. Saw Branch Manager in his office studying his computor screen with deep concentration (Jason Illingsworth). Decided to ask Jason is there any more tellers available. He said only two tellers available. I pointed one that there has been only one for the last 20 mins. He said nothing, I went to the line. His Senior Banker entered his office they swapped a few lies and laughed. I finally made it to the one teller, she was awesome, she informed me that the other teller had gone for coffee! On my way out Jason said have a great day! lol It definitely hurts they do not see my time as beng valuable! Yet as so as i have a few dollars in my acciunt i hear from them constantly wanting me to invest with them! Based on how the customer service is handled within the branch i would not invest a dime with them.

Extremely dissatisfied with the service here...there is always a lineup leading outside the building, and 2 clerks to help! I've had to wait over 90minutes in line and my back hurt because of it.. also I've had several issues with my account which they failed to address leaving me and my family without access to our funds. I will be leaving this back to find something better

Easily one of the worst banks in kelowna. Expect to wait 20minutes for a teller. Lineups of 10+ people every time i come with usually only 2-3 tellers at front desk. Came early today 9:30am as soon as the bank opened lineup of 15+ people and only 2 tellers while multiple employees roam around doing nothing.

I went in and found a line of 10 people and only two tellers at the counter. By the time I got to the teller, there was an easy 20-30 people now behind me. The tellers were very nice and respectful but there was 3-4 other staff, no one came to help. I will never use this branch and make sure friends and family don't. Not only that, but I was able to get a print out but my wife was going to be charged $5 per page. This place is shaddy

There is no accountability through this bank. I call the 1-800 number to clear things up and they tell my to call my local branch. Upon calling the local branch, I waited two weeks for a call back that never happened.Upon going into the bank and standing in line for over an hour even though I was second person in line, they told me that they can't help me and that I am to call the 1-800 number again.I have been trying to move an Education fund for a year now.The only reason it's getting a one star is so I can leave a review.

Arrived to find line-up of 10 customers in front of me. Only 2 tellers working, with 3 more empty work stations. 1 teller was clearly helping a customer with needs requiring a greater amount of time. That left only 1 teller to help the line-up of customers. I believe I could read "Hugh" of his name tag from the line-up. From what I could hear and see, Hugh was very friendly and working on helping customers as fast as he humanly could. I stood in the line for over 20 minutes and 5 people made it through in front of me. I had to leave to pick up my kids from school before I even get to the counter. Where are the supervisors or managers? If there is a long line of customers why are there any empty counter station? Managers need to monitor the branch, if a long line is forming jumping in and help your staff. And managers wonder why staff burn out and customers get frustrated? Its because you are not supporting your workplace! Hire more staff and schedule more staff to help your customers!

Worst branch ever. I have been into this branch 3 times to change a payment date and they still have not gotten it changed. Hopefully time #4 will be the charm. I started this process in July !!.How incompetent do you have to be to not be able to switch a date.I will be changing banks after being a loyal customer for 20 years because of this.

At 10 am, there were only two front desks providing services, Deny ID and phone verification of identity ,with poor business capabilities and very low work efficiency. All the guests are complaining!

Severely understaffed for the past year. Expect 40min - 1hr average line waits almost all times of day. Do not recommend for business owners, unless you have a lot of spare time.
