If you need a new appliance I HIGHLY RECOMMEND visiting Coast Appliances and asking for John.Waking up to a broken fridge was an absolute nightmare, but John found us a floor model replacement and arranged for a next day (Saturday) delivery. We LOVE the new fridge and added the extended warranty for peace of mind. ** Update**I've been using the KitchenAid 36" 5 Burner Gas Cooktop for about three years now, and overall, it's been a decent product. The cooktop provides even heat distribution, and the five burners offer plenty of cooking space for multiple dishes at once.However, recently I discovered that two of the three grates on the cooktop have developed cracks. Unfortunately, the manufacturer's warranty is only for one year, and since my cooktop is now out of warranty, there's nothing that can be done.When I reached out to Coast Appliances, they refused to offer any support, stating that I would have to deal directly with Kitchen Aid.Upon contacting Kitchen Aid, I was disappointed to learn that they would not cover the replacement of the grates either. Instead, they offered to sell me new grates at a significant cost.I want to warn anyone considering purchasing this product to be aware of the limited warranty and the potential replacement costs associated with it. While the cooktop itself functions well, the lack of support from both the store and the manufacturer has been frustrating.***In June we had gone into the showroom and dealt with Vish who was very good at helping us select 8 appliances for our home. We paid for the appliance in full, months prior to deliver in December. Multiple times through email and phone calls we confirmed the December delivery. Just prior to delivery we were told that our dryer was not available. After questioning Coast Appliances we were told it was sold to someone else and that a different one was expected to arrive prior to our delivery day but it had not shown up. We were offered a different brand and set which we did not accept because it did not have all the same feature. We ended up getting the floor model, as we needed a dryer and were given a $56 credit.Overall, Vish the salesman was great to deal with.The fact that something that was paid in full could be sold to someone else is a questionable way to do business. I would caution purchasing appliances from Coast Appliances especially if you are on a schedule.

My landlords recently purchased a full size stacking laundry set from your store. They were installed yesterday by ZMB Mechanical.The laundry set is wonderful, exactly what I would have chosen myself.The installers took the time to do everything well, and it was a tight spot. They were professional, and made sure everything was in good working order before they left with the old set. I was very impressed with their professionalism.I highly recommend them. Thank you Coast Appliances and ZMB Mechanical for a great customer experience!

We had great in store and after delivery care - A big thank you to Isabel for looking after us so well! There was a delivery mishap that she was able to investigate and help resolve in a timely matter. Isabel reached out to us, even while she was still on her Christmas holidays, to acknowledge our concern and offer an acceptable solution to the issue. I had issues with a model number being switched to a lesser model but same price. We had to take time to prove the mistake wasn't us and then had our order corrected after standing our ground. Delivery wasn't what they communicated and one crew left me with garbage that didn't fit in my bin.

Awful experience from day 1 Bought a $30K fridge freezer. Delivery delayed months (employee let it slip that they had given my order to someone else). Delivery team was the keystone cops... in sandals, nearly dropped appliance, scratched my door. Had to come back multiple times... door didn't fit, door panel missing, etc. After months, fridge/freezer finally installed but fridge fan sounds like a 737 taking off. Can't seem to find anyone at Coast who cares.

I have been using Coast Appliance now for 3 years. Had great service in the past. This past purchase had some hiccups but it worked out. That is until we had a plumbing company install a brand new Kitchenaid dishwasher.The dishwasher tub seam is completely separated from factory. Called Kelowna Coast Appliance and I am told to deal with Kitchenaid directly. Coast will not exchange the unit and Kitchenaid wants to send out a new tub, but nobody local wants to do the repair.Chris from coast will not return my emails or messages left to return my calls. If you deal with Coast, don’t expect good customer service after appliance delivery. Looks like dish washing by hand for another few months!!

I have made two purchases from Coast Appliance recently. Frank was my sales person and he is the best. Ask for him. I did have a problem with the first order, but Frank looked after it and I was satisfied. Went back and bought a washer and dryer. Again Frank was quick and communitive

Come in here for the first time, Frank J was helpful being very efficient and quick to figure out what we need and able to provide advice. Wide range selection on brand and pricing, enough inventory that we don’t need to wait for the item we want for months. Make sure to visit them if you are in the market for appliances hunting!

Terrible customer service.Tried ordering a dishwasher from a reputable, local company. My main concern was NOISE and I wanted a very quiet dishwasher. I was assured by the sales rep that Samsung has a 44dbl dishwasher that is extremely quiet. I asked him many times if he knew the model and he reassured me that I was quite.We live in an open concept condominium and I don’t want to listen to dishwasher noise while watching TVDishwasher arrives and gets installed and it is noisy, goes up to 70 dbl?Called Coast and was told they have to send a technician out as there is something wrong with the unit.Technician comes and confirms that the dishwasher is definitely 70 dbl.I tried calling the manager and was only able to talk to the salesman, he told me if I wanted a quiet dishwasher I have to spend another $ 1.300 on top of the $1.500 I already spent. I was so frustrated and agreed. I had time to think about this and talked to other people. Everyone said I shouldn’t have to pay anything extra as they sold me a false advertised product.I have now tried calling the store manger Chris 3 times and left a message for a callback.Totally frustrating, please don’t wast your time trying to buy locally, these people have no clue what they are selling.

I dealt with an Inside/Web Sales Representative, Carissa, who helped me with the purchase of an Elica range hood. The level of service was outstanding. She definitely went above and beyond to help me source the unit I was after (which I was able to pick up the next day). The follow up was amazing. I would definitively buy future appliances from Coast based on this experience and would definitely recommend it to others.

Poor customer service & inventory management. We bought a range/microwave from an advertised sale online stating one was available in Kelowna and called to inquire when we can pick it up and were given another employees at a Burnaby locations name & email to hunt down the product we paid for (even though to me this tracking down inventory is the job of the retailer not the customer).After a bunch of our time wasted (I have young children and my partner has a busy medical practice) and run around trying to track the item down we were told it isn’t even in stock in the Burnaby store.I have heard good things from others about coast appliances but sadly did not share in having a good experience.
