Max price is $2. Now, maybe. It could potentially go up to $3 in the future but for now, dollar tree is the best option if you want a cheap, trackable price. I usually will count each item as $2 anyways, to be smart and save money for other stores (ex. Ithrift store) minimum price for anything in this store unless otherwise priced is still $1.50, I think. (Please correct me if I am wrong...) But overall the best of the least expensive stores. And one of the staff actually wanted to hire me. So they're looking for new staff. I'm actually thinking about putting in a (second) application. Not that I'd get hired, anyhow.

No one answers the phones, not helpful if a customer has a question or new staff member is trying to get their shifts. Would not shop or apply here

They’re great. Most of the staff are super friendly and prices are the best they can do. As for any of the complainers……. Consider the source and realize this a dollar store not Nordstrom’s…….

This is a good store. Nothing is over $1.25. I get a lot of baking goods here such as non stick spray, nuts, chocolate chips etc.

This is one of the best stores in Kelowna.Unfortunately the older blonde woman was very rude today .I was waiting at till 3 because the light was on.I could hear the her gabbing away in the office to someone the entire time very loudly .After getting tired of waiting I went to till 1 and saw her finally come back to till 3.She told a woman waiting there that her till was closed.I told her she should turn her till light off because I was waiting there for ten minutes! She cut me off in mid sentence and walked away talking loudly to herself. No apology. Unacceptable customer service.I have been coming to this store for years. After today I read some of the reviews, they are shocking.

The old lady was really rude to us she don’t know how to talk to customers.very poor customer serviceShe was talking to another person in the store saying that “Oh! She started loading all the stuff on the belt” she was so rude while saying that. And since we bought some fragile items so we asked for tissue and she denied to give “ saying that she didn’t have any “ which is not true. Every single retail store Carrie’s tissue papers to roll fragile items. She also scanned one of our item twice and when we showed he this she started counting the items in our cart several times and holded our cart so tightly with a force and she was trying to pull our cart.Disgusting lady ! I don’t know why she works there. She should not be working there because every time we go there she behaves so badly with us. I hope the manager of the store can take some actions against her. We also called the store to complain about her but again “ she said she is the manager of the store” which she is not. I asked her to make talk to someone else still she was like u can talk to me “.I just don’t know why this racist lady works there! I would suggest people not go in this store.

My favourite dollar store in town! Everything is $1.50, and while they don’t always have the selection the bigger stores have, they have great deals if you know what you’re looking for! I go here for almost all my dollar store needs.

We called pretty last minute to have some helium birthday balloons done up. Mitch (mgr) had answered the phone, he was extremely helpful and had a can do attitude. We were maybe 7 min away when we called and without hesitation had already started on them. They were all done in the most beautiful balloon bouquet. THANK YOU MITCH FOR SAVING THE DAY! My girls eyes lit up and other dollar stores were giving me a 45-hr estimate.I will continue to support Dollar Tree after this experience. Thank you again!!

I visit this Dollar Tree a lot, because they have a lot of decent quality items for a very inexpensive price. They carry a huge variety of craft supplies, another full aisle of kitchen items, gardening things in the spring/summer, and usually have a pretty good variety of cards and seasonal decor. They also carry Christian themed items, (candles, home decor, devotional books, books for children etc.) that are not available elsewhere in town, especially not at those unbeatable prices!!Recently, I have noticed this Dollar Tree seems to be having an issue with keeping staff. There has been a sign on the door for several months, (which is not uncommon in Kelowna these days) and I have also overheard the staff, especially one woman (dyed blond curly hair) who said she is the manager, complaining about how she hires people and then they don't always show up for shifts, and then she has to fire them. She seems extremely stressed, probably partly because of the staffing issue and the amount of work she is likely overwhelmed with. The store is well stocked, and there is a lot of variety, that being said they do obviously need more staff in order to properly organize the items they have, and keep their loyal customers as Dollaramas keep popping up all over town. I have worked 7 years of retail, in various locations, including 2 years at Winners in another province, and I know how sales work. People care about store organization, and prices, but many times, they care even more about how they are treated while they are in the store. And if the employees are not treated well, then that will pass on to the customers. This morning, I had a nice chat with a small brown-haired employee. She couldn't find the item I was looking for, but she did show me which aisle to look in, which was very helpful and I did find the item. She apologized, but also explained that she had only been the manager (she may have said assistant manager) for 2 weeks, so she wasn't exactly sure where everything was yet. No worries, I wasn't expecting her to know the exact location of every item in the store at a given time! Later, I noticed she had a pin on that said it was her birthday, so I asked her if it really was her birthday, and she said yes, so I said "happy birthday!".This afternoon on my way home from work, since it was her birthday, I decided to pick her up a mini blizzard from Dairy Queen, and drop it off for her as a surprise, since she was so nice to me. Unfortunately, when I got there, the blond employee seemed very upset when I told her I was looking for the manager. She looked confused and said "I'M the manager." and so I explained what the woman looked like, and her name tag name. I thought she just must have forgotten, since this girl said she had only been manager for 2 weeks, so I described her, until the blond lady told me "I cannot release that information". I realize she was likely protecting an employee by not giving out personal information. I appreciate that - perhaps she thought I was just looking for information or bribe or who knows what.I guess it's rare to for people to make have random acts of kindness these days. But if the second employee had had a more polite tone, and been kinder to me, I probably would have given her the blizzard, instead of feeling bewildered, and taking it home to put in the freezer.I hope the owners are able to resolve their staffing issue soon, so that their staff are less stressed. If you are the owner and you see this review, perhaps, if you aren't already doing this, you could consider stepping in to work in the store for a week or two, to see how it functions on a daily basis, while you are looking for new employees and a new assistant manager. This may help you get a feel for what personality of people you need to look for, to best fill the positions available. All the best in your business - and to everyone shopping: the prices are great, the product is good, the employees are struggling - be kind!
