I had to pick up an item from a store in the Mall today, then decided to walk around and just browse and reminisce.I am not a Shopper anymore, gave it up decades ago.So visiting several stores today I recall from way back, some newer and some special ones.At the end of my walkabout I spotted Gap, it drew me in as my girl was once modelling their kids clothing.I walk in and instantly I see this bright smile, the welcoming voice of this girl working there, she is wearing the sunshine in her pockets, I am not kidding you, I approached her and commented that she is the ONLY person so far in all the stores I visited that actually acknowledged me, smiled and greeted me. Wow, I was so impressed with her customer service I just have to mention it. Her name is Celeste and what an amazing young woman that knows what a first impression means. I hope Gap knows what kind of asset she is to their outfit.Her co-worker was equally friendly, helpful and simply a pleasure to talk to.The entire store had an uplifting bright and positive atmosphere, I was meant to walk in there and get my special boost for the day.Well done Gap, other outfits should take notice on how retail stores should function.
