I had to take a min to give a good review. I recently took a trip to Kentucky and let me tell you, the people are so kind and relaxed.. not what I expected. I came back to the reminder of how impatient and rushed people are in BC. I have been putting my wallet away and had people reach over me to start to deal with the cashier " not here". I have been bummped by a cart and rushed in every store I go to... But the last time this young guy with long hair was so kind he talk to me like I am a human and I'm not a product to rush through. I dont know his name, but he must be new.. Thank you!! If others are in a rush that is on them for not planning better... we should be able to say hi, how are you and take our time because for most people this can be their only interaction with others. The human interaction was so much better out there.. they talk to you, and you chat with them as they bag your stuff... you know their name and most times they know you.... they even remembered me and said hi.... Thank you, Homesense, for getting way better in customer care!!!! It's better for the employees and customers.

Has a little bit of everything. Went to buy some syrup for my coffee and ended up buying over $100 worth of various items. Just look around and see what they have. It’s always changing. They just increased the size of the store so they have more stock to look through. And the prices are very reasonable. Lots of parking.

You’re getting a one star because it’s the worst customer service ever! A large store like this you have 12 people in the line up and one till open yes you heard that right one till. What happened to customer service?? If you don’t want to hire people to work in your store then get self serve check-out… the manager is useless

Terrible manager. Wouldn’t introduce herself when I asked for her. Lacks personality. Asked for discount on Pulp Fiction LP marked $29.99 that was clearly damaged and she refused, but it wasn’t that. It was the blonde lady’s attitude! PS $24.99 on Amazon undamaged!!! Phoeey PSS It takes zero talent to be nice!

This HomeSense location locks the carts so you have to carry everything to you car, which really sucks for a furniture store. The kicker is they can unlock it but refuse to because “they’d have to do it for everyone else.” Make the carts take a loonie so people will bring them back. Making the customer take out all the items with no cart is frustrating and inconvenient. Management needs to think about changing this as it’s an issue every time and has resulted in me refusing to come back to this location. Don’t make the customer pay for your weird issues around carts.
