“I used BigSteelBox for a year of storage in Kelowna and then a complete cross country move from Kelowna to Moncton in Summer of 2025.
All the staff I dealt with were professional, super easy and accommodating, from the folks in the contaact center, yard staff, transportation team and everyone else I had the pleassure of interactiving with that arranged our long distance move and longer term storage.
We used a local moving company for packing the container and a different one at the other end for unpacking, but everything arrived in one piece and in a very timely fashion. They even accommodated a super high stresss time as I was in hospital ICU during the long distance portion of the move too and. they were the least part of our stresses during this extremely difficiult time for myself and my wife.
I would 100% feel very happy to recommend BigSteelBox for even a super long distance cross country move and for storage throughout a summer and winter!”

Emilee showed me around the yard and worked with me to find another option that ended up being a better fit for what we needed. She was very patient with communications within the various departments at my place of employment.
Then when it came to delivery, Andrew exceeded all expectations!
The clearance space between the two containers, where ours needed to be placed, was extremely limited. We discussed various options, including having the container returned to Secure Rite or temporarily placed in the parking lot while we arranged for the other containers to be moved, which would have been costly and time consuming. However, Andrew was determined to find a solution for us. He went above and beyond to ensure the container was placed exactly where we needed it and didn’t leave until it was positioned perfectly.
