After reading about this locally owned store, I finally popped in for a look. WOW! The shoes are amazing but even more impressive is the excellent customer service I received from Ginny. Ginny certainly knows her shoes and was able to select styles to meet my particular needs. The entire experience from her first "Hello" to my ultimate purchase left me feeling upbeat and valued. I look forward to my next visit as there are definitely more styles I am coveting. :)

Ordered online as I was looking for a specific pair of roamers/ego-trip shoes in my size. Shipping and delivery was super fast. Shoes are adorable and ohh so comfortable. Super delighted with the service and quality as I needed a comfortable pair of walking shoes for an upcoming trip. I will certainly order from them again. They appear to have a very reasonable return/refund policy.

I love Strut footwear! The owner and the staff are warm and welcoming. The merchandise assortment is delightful - very well accessorized store. The lighting, ambiance, pricing are all really well aligned! Strut is a little piece of fashion heaven for me in beautiful Kelowna!

Went in the store last week for my first time and was so impressed with the wide selection of not only stylish but quality brand shoes/boots. Went in for a pair of boots for the fall and left with three pairs as they had so many great options. Shandy was extremely helpful and providing great and friendly service. Have since wore all three pairs and the beautiful leather has moulded to my foot so nicely. Look forward to justifying needing another pair and will certainly be back!

Looking for shoes to suit a dress fit for a special occasion, I found a pair at Strut that may’ve been suitable. At the till whilst waiting for the owner to finish what she was doing, I began flipping through cute stockings hung on display. Upon placing a $35 pair of shin high stockings on the counter, handing over my credit card and in between either an incoming call, or replying to a text; I saw the owner circle something ‘returns’ in red. I rolled my eyes wondering who would ever return stockings and continued on my way.Shortly after I got in the car, I took a look at the receipt just to find out that she meant no returns on ANYTHING. Remember shoes to match a dress fit for a special occasion? Well, I couldn’t be certain they’d work until I saw them both together, so I turned around and went back to find that the owner had left early.I explained the ill communication, or lack thereof to the staff member who helped find my size. I added the fact that I live out of town, therefore had no intention to drive all the way back to discuss the matter with the owner in the event that the shoes weren’t ???? for the dress. I left the shoes and the receipt with my name and number on it, so the owner could call me upon her return.Even though I turned around and drove straight back as soon as I read the receipt, the owner was not willing to be amicable when she called me the following day. She mentioned Covid and the burden it’s caused her financially. I explained that by no means was I asking for a refund, and that an exchange for an everyday shoe would do. I just didn’t want to be stuck with a $200 pair of shoes that I’d never wear in the event that they didn’t work with the dress.Upon repeatedly being turned down, I finally said that if I came back to town in the next few days for some unforeseen reason that I’d give her a call/stop by.With it being made clear that I wouldn’t have purchased the shoes if I had known I couldn’t exchange them, I wrongfully assumed that she’d put the shoes back on the shelf.I’ve been back to kelowna a couple times since then to pick up mail from the post office next door, but Strut wasn’t open in order to have the matter dealt with. Not until today, that is.It was less than a 60 second visit where I was interrupted, handed the shoes and basically denied of any chance to resolve the matter. Why won’t she exchange them?It makes sense that she’s struggling financially with her lack of business etiquette. Again, I wasn’t asking for her money. A simple exchange would’ve sufficed.
