December 18, 2023. Very busy day, dealt with long lines everywhere. Got here and the girl working at the till tonight decided to do some weird fainting act with her co worker that took about 3 minutes while I just stood there with my boyfriend not knowing what to do. Thanks for that, lady.

Last time I shopped here was last year..had a great experience...friendly helpful staff..Well today not such a good experience..staff not very knowledgeable or helpful...one floor staff I could not understand a word he was saying ...And at the self serve check .was having a little trouble ..male clerk came over and help .but was very rude and said a very nasty comment..Will not be coming back...

When you phone this location, you are forced to explain your needs to a witless robot rather than speak to a human being. I refuse to speak to a robot. It is so silly, why lose business because you are too cheap to hire someone to say "Hello, Home Depot Kelowna, how may I help you?"

Do not go to the tool center. They do not maintain them and it caused thousands of dollars in damage. Home Depot send me to their back-alley insurance agency who denied the claim for not being responsible to maintain equipment?I spoke to the store managers Mike, Tristan, and Kim and while they understand the damage home depot caused, their hands are tied by corporate who is more interested in scamming than helping doers get anything done.

For any household projects, I will have to come by Home Depot at least once. They have what I need and the prices are typically acceptable compared to other hardware stores.

The selection in store is amazing. It's a huge store. Plus the online for delivery selection covers what you can't find in store. Always a lot of floor staff that are knowledgeable in their section to be able to help with product or project questions. Usually a pretty busy place. The garden centre is great for all things plants, supplies, and yard landscape.

On May 30, 2023 I went to the store with little hope to find an item which I suspected was no longer in production - a small spring holding in place a window mosquito screen. I had no idea where to turn so I asked at the counter at the front of the store for help. I was directed to the Customer Service desk. The lady listened to my problem and called a sales assistant to help me. Although I was right about the item to be no longer in production, the sales assistant found a similar one, which to my surprise, fitted and worked well. I was impressed by the attention paid to me regardless of how small and inexpensive ($ 5-) the item was.Thank you!

I just want to say a HUGE Thank you to Dave and Reid who cared enough to help solve our issue with a cracked vanity when we were trying to exchange it with a floor model as there were none in stock in the surrounding areas and on back order. We had planned the bathroom based off this vanity and when we initially came in the first “manager” who came said there was absolutely nothing he could do as the vanity on the floor was owned by the manufacturer and they couldn’t sell floor models. My husband went back a few minutes later and spoke with Reid and Dave who told him it was no issue and understood the time and money we had put into this renovation and got us the floor model that day! Thank you for your understanding we are so grateful for amazing people like you two who care about customer service and for doing what you could to make our experience that much better! You’re both amazing, much appreciated!

Tried to return a couple items today. Usually, it simple and I've had great experiences but today was unbelievable. Return denied for no reason. I am doing renovations on my home and just wanted to have a credit to get other items I needed. After a 45min phone call with a return department and speaking to a manager they couldn't solve the problem. Come back another day was the end result. Very disappointed customer!

I went in there to return a planer and order a pump. There was some technical issues and they very easily could have said no to me and made me deal with it properly. Manager..... well I think he was anyways David was his name went above and beyond to help and resolved the issue

My husband and I had a great experience purchasing a washer and dryer set today. Sandy (Kelowna) was great! Very knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. The transaction literally took 10 minutes and she walked us through the till and checked us out.

Literally the best shopping experience I've had. In 2019 we did a major reno. Appliance staff went above and beyond to help me get everything I needed and made delivery seamless, working with our timing. Fast forward to part 2 of our renovation and again, from the front desk staff who are always cheerful and helpful when I call in, to Michelle and Leanne in particular in the decor department who again, went above and beyond to not only look after me, but made sure to contact me to ensure everything was fine, just blew me away. Renovating from across the country isn't easy, unless you have this Home Depot Team on your side. I can't say enough about how well we were treated and the consistent level of exceptional service we received. Thank you everyone at Home Depot!

Sandra, in the washers and dryer section was very helpful, attentive and easily convinced me to get the Home Depot credit card… Giving me $100 savings. She is an outstanding employee! I was happy to get my new LG washer during the January sale.

Absolutely deplorable experience putting my daughter and my life at risk, rented a pick up truck early November and the truck they gave us had BALD TIRES and they knew we were in Armstrong. We couldn't even get up our driveway or out of where it was parked to return it to the Kelowna location. In BC are we not supposed to have winter tires on by October? They were booked to have tires put on that pick up for November 24th - and still kept the truck in rental service - then we get a huge snowfall that we KNEW WAS COMING as we specifically asked about the tires hence, we were hold it wouldn't have tires until the 24th. I am accountable for renting it, but those tires were so worn down, that truck should have been out of rental service ages ago until SAFE WINTER TIRES were installed.So due to the heavy snow fall, the tires etc, we had to call Home Depots Towing - Road side assistance and have them come get it. The tow company even called us and made a statement that the truck should've never been rented out and in service, and gave us head offices phone number.After way too much back and forth, Kelowna locating charges another $500 because the rental was returned late?!!!! Now, I'm a single mom and by now, out over $1,000 and never got to use the pick up truck!!!!!! They refuse to return any funds and even took the second charge of $500 After the pick up was already returned to their store location.NEVER RENT A PICK UP FROM HOME DEPOT IN KELOWNA - Always check your tires, that's YOUR LIFE AND EVERYONE TRAVELLING IN OUR REGION, ON OUR LOCAL ROADS WITH YOU WHO ARE NOW ALSO AT RISK FOR LACK OF DUE DILLIGENCE AND FRANKLY HOME DEPOTS FEDUCIARY DUTIES IN ENSURING SAFETYAT ALL TIMES BOTH IN STORE, AND MORE SO WITH THEIR RENTAL FLEETS AND DELIVERY TRUCKS.Absolutely not satisfied, highly do NOT recommend or suggest renting any truck for any reason from the Kelowna location at 2515 Enterprise Way, Kelowna, BC V1X 6C1For what I thought was one of the most consistent and dependable global brands, I'm beyond disappointed and let's not even get me started on being charged over $1,000 abd not even using the truck to complete a job for income to support myself and my daughter.Not to forget that head office ALSO had complete disregard for our provincial safety guidelines regarding winter tires, especially with a rental fleet license. They should suspend the rental license until ALL units have been serviced and cleared by a certified mechanic.Am I wrong? Wouldn't you expect top notch safety as a priority from Home Depot?!Thanks for charging me over $1,000 and setting me back to have to work even harder just before Xmas. I'm still catching up because of this disheartening service & cost.Regards,One very unhappy customer you just lost indefinitely.
