Horrible service.I was on my way home from work a couple months ago and I stopped in just after 7pm, to get a few things... I found a pair of pajama pants that I wanted to try on, so I went to the changing room area.There was a sign up saying to press the call button (attached to the sign) after 7pm for assistance. First I decided to walk around to see if there was a staff member available to assist. I saw a woman wearing a Walmart work vest nearby but she was walking around seemingly distracted. I attempted to call out and catch up to her but then I saw her personal cellphone in her hand and she was on a call. I waited for a moment for her to finish her call but she was taking her time.So then I went back to the changing room area and pressed the button for assistance, waited five minutes and no one came. I pressed the button a second time and waited and still no one came. So then I pressed the button a third time and waited once more.I wasted a total of 20 minutes waiting for help that never came.You can imagine my frustration as I left so I haven't been back since.

It would be really nice if all the self checkouts were available instead of only having half up and running…so now there’s always a long line …like what’s the point?!

Walmart is notorious for having poorly trained staff. No one knows where to find anything. No one has access to the nessassary keys to unlock the multiple types of locks they keep on everything. Even when they have plenty of staff walking around aimlessly they refuse to open a register lane to try and force you through the self check out, which they don't trust you to do so they have one kid watching over everyone going through. Recently I went to return a movie I accidentally purchased a duplicate of, misplaced the receipt and didn't know that they changed the rule so you can no longer return anything without a receipt. I finally found the receipt and went back to return the movie and was told they won't now because it's beyond the return date. It's a sealed movie and I have the receipt I only purchased in December. Walmart is the most frustrating place to shop. I now remember why I stopped shopping there for years and they have only gotten worse.

Don't bother at all with their online orders, order from somewhere else! Every online order has had missing items that I was charged for, which I then have to spend over an hour and a half on the phone trying to get a refund for! IF they accept your refund, you now have to wait 7-10 business days to get your money back! Don't waste your money or your time here!The local store's customer service NEVER answers their phone, so good luck contacting someone.Inside the store they often ONLY have self checkout available, they don't offer bags or boxes. Spend your money elsewhere. The food quality is bad for the price anyway.

Terrible. I have gone a couple times to buy controllers and accessories for my switch. Both time I waited with 0 help from any employees.Today I stood in front of the cabinet for 10 minutes browsing. The staff member beside me do not ask me once if I needed a hand. I finally asked for help and was completely ignored. I'll go spend my $300 at London Drugs.

I find people friendly and never have a problem finding things. The atmosphere is just better than at other stores. More laid back, less snobby. Great store.

Just had an excellent experience at Walmart Kelowna electronics department. We were looking for black friday deals on cell phones and other. We did a lot of homework and shopping around - Walmart had the best deals of all. But the real bonus was the excellent service we received from Raghav A. who very patiently and diligently helped us get the best deal match for phone and plan. As we are not not too tech savvy, he set the phones up, had some great advice, spent at least 90 minutes with us answering questions, and also attended to other customers questions here and there. He invited us to come back any time and he would help with issues we may have. We didn't need to do that - yet - as his directions were easy to follow. Despite technical problems with system protocol which had just changed in their department and was causing significant delays he found a way through them (sometimes with input from Jason - dep't supervisor on duty that day) - who also was extremely busy yet attended to everyone in a friendly, cheerful manner) Instead of having a line up of frustrated, shop weary customers - everyone was attended to. We visited other places that day - and did not find anyone as attentive, willing to help - or acting like doing business with us was important. Because of these 2 employees - Walmart is our go to choice for any electronic and tech future purchases. Good service is the hardest thing to find in retail these days (in our experience). Rayhav and Jason redeemed our faith in choosing in-store shopping over on-line.

Change the now “staff bathroom” back to parent bathroom! We should not have to take up the one handicap stall in the back because staff want to hide in their own private washroom. I also like to change my child privately, not have them exposed to whoever is walking by! Also, this store is run so poorly. Products always sitting around in boxes with empty shelves and staff wandering around looking lost.

I’m not interested in having to pay for q tips and bath salts in the cosmetics area and then do another transaction with my full cart of items at the check out. If Walmart has a problem with people stealing from the cosmetics section as was the reason given to me by the sales associate, that’s a Walmart problem. I’m not taking on extra transaction fees to do two transactions because their loss prevention is lacking.I asked the sales associate to page a manager to discuss, after 5 minutes of waiting no manager came, so I went to the regular check out and did my whole transaction. Being accosted for q tips and bath salts isn’t an enjoyable experience, and I am done with Walmart.

Worst service ever, me and my wife were just exiting the place tonight and the customer greeter just snatched the receipt from my wife’s hand to show it to her trainee about the items that we bought. That’s really rude and disrespectful. My wife was holding a lot of stuff in her hand and she just came and snatched the receipt. Next time just ask politely from the customers no one’s gonna bite. PS: Great training ..

I was looking for a small turkey for thanksgiving. I went to Walmart and found the perfect size! When I’m about to brine the turkey, I was surprised one the legs was chopped off! I checked the cavity I found the neck, giblets and the pope nose. No luck! So I called the store several times no answer! Poor customer service! I know it’s busy but it shouldn’t be an issue. Pick up the phone!

Terrible experience on more than one occasion using their online pick up. Today was the last straw, sat for over 30 minutes waiting for our order after watching multiple cars come and go. The man "helping" us was rude and arrogant. He rolled his eyes when we questioned the long wait. We were told that part of our order (apples and onions) was missing in the store and they had to go find them. My husband then asked why they had sent him the Email stating it was ready. The man taking care of our order told us that it was ready, just lost. As I said it has happened more than once and this will be the last time. They think by giving you a bottle of water and a chocolate bar it will make up for the awful service and treatment. Sorry but I'll go elsewhere.

So incredibly frustrating trying to buy any type of trading cards here as they’ve decided to lock them up and NEVER have anyone with a key around. It takes 30+ minutes every time to get the employees attention, or to even find the employee who has a key. Honestly the glass deserves to be smashed because of how absurdly difficult it is to find someone who has access to it.

Only used this store for online pick up, will not be using again. When collecting the groceries I noticed quite a few items missing, I mentioned it to the loading person and he assured me “not to worry, as they would refund me the cost of the missing items” well 8 weeks later and I still do not have the refund of $60 and I have 17 emails from Walmart stating that they are “investigating” my problem and are sorry it’s taking longer than usual to resolve. What is there to investigate?I paid for groceries that were not available and have not received a refund for the missing groceries. STAY AWAY from this Walmart. Will never shop here again! Very very poor customer service. Oh and on a side note when the person was loading my car with the groceries, a street person walked by with a huge amount of groceries in his cart that the employee stated that the person had just shoplifted all those items, but there was nothing they could do about it and the Police don’t respond anymore. So I guess the moral of the story is that honest people are paying for all the shoplifters they are letting walk off the premises. Disgusting!
