I’m sure the service is fantastic, but they have not once been open according to their schedule, I regularly show up during business hours, bank closed, show up today, well, turns out they never opened.
Royal Bank, if you can’t have a functional location, close it, all we ever get to use is the bank machine anyways.
Place is a joke.

Opened a new account. Attempting to transfer investment funds from another bank to RBC in Kimberley. Did the paperwork in person. It’s been over a month. Can leave messages but get no callback. Asked a teller in person to relay a message to an investment advisor to call me once she’s available to follow-up. No callback. Hours are 10-3pm. Really??? This place is a joke. Taking my money elsewhere. Poor excuse for a financial institution. ??

First, the hours at this branch are a joke 10-3? If you work or go to school, no bank for you. Every time I go up there it's closed, no staff last time, no heat this time. After calling the 1-800 number, the robot hung up on me and told me no one was available to take my call. Time to switch banks.

After travelling to the branch one day and discovering that it was closed during business hours due to staff sickness, I decided to call the next day to ensure it was open before travelling down again. The AI "assistant" simply would not put me through to a human, even after several attempts. However, finally I was transferred to someone who only knows where, and was further put on hold for five minutes. And all of this just to find out if they were actually open! Clearly if I'm having this much difficulty getting to answer to a simple question, I shudder to think of the hassle if I had a real issue. No thanks, I'll take my business elsewhere.

I was approved for a WestJet credit card and was expecting it in the mail. I received a call from a client rep informing me that the card was send to the Kimberley RBC branch and that I would have to go to the Kimberley to PIN the card. I explained I live in Invermere and don't travel to Kimberley and very seldom to Cranbrook so that wouldn't be happening. Long story short, I told the rep to cancel my card.
