A bit of road noise. Bathrooms and showers were impeccably clean and neat. Sites separated by trees and greenery. A great place for a night on the road north or south.

Absolutely great. Nice swimming pool, great showers, spacious pitches, very quiet, nice owner, cheap and spacious laundry facilities, ping pong & pool. The only disadvantage is the highway that rushes past the campsite, but we laughed and took that for granted.

Awesome stay with John at Big Country! The bathrooms were the cleanest I had seen in some time at a campground + it has music playing and is heated. The tent site I stayed in was just what I needed for a good night's rest. John opened up the pool for me to use after a long day's ride on my bike. Though I didn't utilize it, there is the option to do laundry as well. 10/10 recommend! John is a very nice guy and fun to chat with if you have the time.

We were passing through and looking for a place to set up our trailer last minute. They were very accommodating even though we showed up late in the night. Opened up the pool early the next day for our young kids but unfortunately had to hit the road. Very kind business thank you!

Fantastic Campground for a mid way stop. Big Rig friendly, so no unhitching necessary. Full hookups, and great wifi. Friendly host, clean grounds. Is by the highway, so some road noise, but not an issue. Definately recommend it!

The owner was fantastic. He is very well-trained and certified by the local tourism bureaus. He was gracious with us in the check-in process and was a fountain of local knowledge. This campground used to be a KOA so its impeccably well run. The entire campground has a certain nostalgic charm that is missing in most other campgrounds you visit these days. The location was very pleasant, and my travelling party found it to be an oasis. The two of them LOVED the swimming pool. Very rare on our vacation to find. Travelling as a tenting guest, I was satisfied with the facilities and wifi internet. I would certainly return here again.

The most hospitable, clean and amenity-filled site i've been to. Just what we needed after a weekend of grubby camping! 1000% recommend. Will be back!

What a great stop! Stayed for 2 nights at the end of July. The pool was fantastic and the little hike out the back was fun for the whole family. Not far from 108 Mile and a fruit stand is within walking distance. Friendly owner and clean sites. Love the pull through! Highly recommend.

Spent two nights in a 30 amp pull-thru FHU site in our 5th wheel. Liked the rustic feel of the campground. Like others have said it is a blast from the past, but well cared for. The owner made us feel at home upon checkin. Since it is located right off 97, there is road noise, but it was a convenient location to visit the bakery in Lac La Hache & groceries in 100 Mile House. We had no phone service, but the internet provided was good.

Awesome place to stay! We spent a couple of nights at the former KOA campground in late August, 2022. The place is super clean, relaxing and well worth the visit. The owner John is a real character and a pleasure to speak with. If you like "retro 1970" you will love the features of the campground as not much has changed since it was built! The campground is well maintained with lots of cool things.....a laundry mat with 25 cent dryers and a "blast to the past" store inside the office. The charm and character of the campground is nice feature. Looking forward to coming back for more stays!Rick & Cathy

Great stop-over place! Clean, well kept, with plenty of amenities such as a little pool, a rec room with table tennis and a pool table, laundry, excellent showers, laundry. The host, John, is laid back and meticulous-a rare balance. A bit noisy from the highway but you know that driving in.
