Electronic Alchemy
For those technological advances within the ethereal world of audio/visual, there be a sorcerer, of sorts, secreted in the Township of Langley who practices a little bit of electronic magic. Marius Bleier, owner-operator of B-Tronics, designs and installs wondrous entertainment and home theatre environments…and more.
A wizard at all things electronic, with an engineering degree from the Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu— in the heart of Transylvania— Marius Bleier transforms spaces into the entertainment and gaming enviros of imagination and dreams.
In addition to designing and installing residential and commercial surveillance systems, B-Tronics also designs and builds smart home automation solutions, calibrates systems, and repairs and refurbishes all manner of used and vintage electronics.
I recently had occasion to revive a vintage Marantz Receiver that had been in storage for 47 years. Following my failed attempts to get it operating again, I dropped it off at B-Tronics. Not only were they able to completely rebuild and bring the classic old-school amp back to life - and to original specifications - Marius also designed and fabricated a custom Automatic Speaker Switch Module, for me.
Not available on the market, the device allows remote switching between two independent, dedicated amplified sound systems— that is, my Yamaha home theatre, multi-channel surround sound system, and my vintage Marantz quadraphonic receiver. Basically, it allows me to utilize my existing surround speakers for both amplified sound sources - saving the expense of an additional four speakers.
I can’t say too much about this remarkable resource and the electronic wizardry practiced at B-Tronics.

Extensive rebuild on my vintage top of the line Akai receiver. The work performed reflected the cost and I am very happy with the results. System sounds good as new.

If I could give Marius a 10 star review I would. He was able to install a projector in an impossible location, calibrate the image, and go out of his way to help me out. It is hard to believe that there are still people who know their craft and he is one of the few left. Thanks again!

My car was facing electrical issues that needed immediate attention, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the quick and efficient service provided.From the moment I arrived, the mechanic demonstrated a high level of professionalism and expertise. They listened attentively to my concerns, asked insightful questions, and promptly diagnosed the problem. Their deep knowledge of Mercedes vehicles and their intricate electrical systems was evident throughout the process.

I phoned him to schedule him to look at my late mother's Bose system.I was quoted $125 just to get him to look at it.Out of all the places I called , he had the quickest availability but the worst price by far. Not a little , but by almost $80.I get that everyone has to make money and the economy we live in sucks ... But this felt like serious gouging. I called back and canceled.I'll wait a month and pay $40 instead of having someone be rude to me and say $125 just for looking at it.Also he never asked what the issue was , what the system was, model or make.... But he was adamant to bring payment in either cash , debit/credit or etransfer.Came across as rude, arrogant and only cared about money, not fixing my stereo.Also he has negative reviews on here , but they don't display...which I find odd.

Left a review and deleted it after I was called over and over about it. Kept calling my phone to argue that I shouldn't leave the review. Called from his number and then would call immediately after while blocking his number. This persisted from June 20th until July 4th. I do have screen shots of this saved to my phone.I called for a quote to change capacitors in a very old radio. Could barely get a word in. Was quoted $1000 sight unseen after asking to change capacitors. He phoned me over and over after I left a review here mentioning the ridiculousness of my quote. The first time, I answered. I was told I can't leave the review because he didn't get to work on my radio. He quoted me a $1000 and said that I was in the wrong and mistaken about the quote, like he has said in response to another reviewer. I deleted the review hoping he would no longer call. He continued to call for 2 weeks. After seeing another reviewer having an issue with a ridiculous quote, and my many calls recieved, I've decided to put a review back up.Bottom line, I have had the job completed for $70 elsewhere. 14 times cheaper than the amount I was told here. The job was simple but I was still quoted $1000. I tried to explain what I was needing done after receiving the quote, but he couldn't stop talking long enough to actually listen. $1000 quote is more money than it would have even cost to rebuild and refinish the entire radio. Just absurd. Radio is in mint condition and needed only capacitors changed. What an arrogant way to conduct business. Shocked to be harassed via phone calls for leaving a truthful review of what happened.
