The parking lot is patrolled by diamond parking, who are essentially scammers extorting money out of gullible people. (Google ‘diamond parking Reddit’)I had been occasionally coming here for the past 17 years until now because of DPS (diamond parking service) giving me a ticket. Never going again unless they get rid of DPS.So where it started was I got a late notice from DPS for $126.50 where they claimed I walked off, which I did not (unless they count walking to Lee’s market a walk off???). They also claimed they put a ticket on my windshield, which they did not (never got a ticket on my windshield). Their supposed proof of me walking off was a picture of me reversing in the lot (my reverse lights were on)?So I disputed it, and their response can be summarized as ‘nuh uh, because I said so’.Then a month or two later I got a final notice, this time for $86.50??? And threatening to send me to collections if I don’t pay. Then a month or so later now, I got a letter from Wiggins adjustments (DPS’ own ‘collections agency’), threatening to bring me to court for $86.50 (keep in mind it costs $115 to take me to small claims court). I’ll see how it goes from here but all I expect is threatening letters. So basically they never gave me a ticket, sent me a late notice, shrugged off my dispute with invalid evidence, sent me a final notice for less than the late notice, then are threatening me with their collection agency? All because I got out of my car to get groceries at the store whose lot they patrol?!?!Keep in mind that DPS is a private company, not a government agency (such as Township of Langley), so they cannot legally enforce anything. It won’t affect your credit score if you don’t pay. Wiggins is their own collections agency, which can’t do anything. The worst they can do is sue you, which costs them more than they’d make, or tow your car, which would also cost them more than they’d make. I’m obviously not going to be giving those scammers a cent of my money. So Judy (store owner/manager), get rid of those scammers.

Higher prices and really bad parking (be ready to get a ticket). Just check other reviews about their parking.

Everything is overpriced and I got a 120$ parking ticket for walking around the wrong side of the building.Talked to the manager and was told there’s nothing she can do.Disputed the ticket, waiting on results.Don’t recommend…

We went there shopping with the family and received a $160 ticket for parking at there parking location. Turns out you not allowed to walk off, so you not allowed to walk away from your vehicle. Not certain on how we can do shopping if we not allowed to leave the vehicle?! Maybe someone could explain this to me, or to the other people who already received a ticket for the same matter.Never going there again and will spread the word at the Fine Art School where my kids go to.

0 stars because they have a terrible parking management system in Diamond Parking. THE WORST. Some parking attendant is hiding in the bushes to attack your car with a $125 ticket once you leave your car to go inside to shop. It’s sick. Lee’s Markets let’s this happen and useless in assisting with disputing. At the very least, change your parking policy to allow shopping inside and a 30 minutes to run errands in other shops just like IGA or Nesters Markets in other areas. How do expect a person to run only 1 errand in a community with lots to offer. You guys are stuck in past in your policies. DO NOT SHOP HERE IF YOU WANT TO GET A $125 ticket. It can happen to you!

AWFUL experience at Lee's Market. I received a $125 ticket for shopping in their store! I shopped, put groceries in my vehicle, returned back to the store to purchase another item, then left for home. I never ever walked off the parking lot. The manager could care less and won't even talk to me, Diamond Parking won't produce any video footage, it's their word against mine, they should have to provide proof if they are going to write tickets for this reason. I am appalled and I will NEVER SHOP AT LEE'S AGAIN, this could happen to you as well! Do not shop there unless you want to risk a $125 fine. This is extortion at its best. Interesting that Lee's market does not comment on any of the other victims of their parking scam. WHERE is YOUR camera Lee's? At least that would provide your victims with footage of their innocence. Those that did walk off admitted it, I however did NOT and I am furious that this could happen. Shame on YOU!

I've been a Lee's customer since I moved to Fort Langley in 2005. Back then, it was an old but quaint local shop, with skinny aisles and wood floors. The day it burned down was heartbreaking.Their new story is bright, airy and has everything you need. The prices, as expected, are higher than the big boxes, but it's close to home and family owned. Support local!
