Buy some very nice tool boxes, the person who helped us was very kind, the truth is that something in me said that I didn't need those tool boxes, but I saw the price and knew that I had to buy that, in the end When I got home I loved it, I feel like I made a good purchase...

Anyone who has Shopped for a lightbulb knows the frustrating experience when you Walk down the wall of lightbulbs at Home Depot. Today I was looking lost in the bulb section when a sales associate named Matt asked if he could help. He patiently listened to my plea to save me from this torture. I showed him a picture of the package that had my last bulb in and asked if he could find the replacement. He was very positive in his response and explained that the manufacturer had changed the watts and reduced the packaging for environmental reasons. He point out the replacement asking how many I needed. We then discussed my need to replace the chandelier lights at my house. He pointed out the options for brightness and white colour and suggested the best option for me. This whole experience was the best customer service I have had in a long time. My anxiety was gone and my satisfaction was brimming over with happiness. If you ever need help at Home Depot in the electrical section you should ask for MATT and he will make your day.

I just had an issue with an outdoor light which I believed would need to be replaced. The light is no longer carried and to replace all of the lights to match would have cost a few hundred dollars. Jim was quick to help and walked me through getting the right parts and talked me through replacing the electrical components that were easily replaced for $7. Jim saved the day today! and did it all with a smile and a hand shake.

I rented a miter saw compound sliding for 4 hours today, and I was really impressed with the price and service. Herjit was especially kind and explained how to use the machine in a way that made it easy for someone like me, who had never used one before. Thanks to Herjit, I used it without any problems and returned it.

I ordered a Traeger Ironwood 885 online, this is a $2000 smoker... I chose not to have it assembled, I was travelling long distance with it so boxed was best, and realistically they are not hard to assemble let alone paying $200+ for someone else to do it.I show up to Langley Home Depot to pick up my order which I've been notified it's ready. It takes over 20 minutes for them to bring it out, which is understandable because they couldn't find it... Turns out it was in the assembly area with "assemble me" written on it. They brought it out to me, the box had been opened, I don't have a mental list of what parts should be included in this box but oh well I got my smoker. So I drive 1400kms, unload it, unbox it to get ready to assemble the thing. There are no instructions which is strange. I find an online video showing me how to assemble it, and the first thing it says is start with the "start here" box, which contains your instructions, all your hardware and the tools needed to assemble. Needless to say this entire box was missing...I call Home Depot, after explaining the situation to a few people I finally get the manager of the seasonal department. He says he'll look into it and call me back. 5-6 hours later I call back to check in, an employee tells me he has my info and will get back to me, but to wait until at least after the weekend to call back. I originally called on a Thursday... So I give him a week to get back to me. A wasted week just to get the answer of "call Traeger and tell them the parts are missing".He makes sure to let me know not to tell them the whole story, about how Home Depot had presumably got part way into building a Traeger smoker that wasn't supposed to be built in the first place, packed everything back in the box and forgot to put some of the most important parts in there... Instead of fixing the issue themselves, this manager's just passing the buck onto Traeger...So I call Traeger, 6-10 business days to get the hardware sent here. When I received it I thought great time to finally get this thing going. When I went over the instructions, it turns out there are more parts missing!-Mica washers for the lid handle-The meat probe-Both cross braces that connect the legs together at either endI didn't even bother calling Home Depot back, it would've been more of the usual run around, poor customer service, deflecting their own mistakes onto others, so I just went straight to Traeger. What a waste of time, it's going to have been like a month before I can even use this thing. Thankfully Traeger seems like a no questions asked kind of outfit and is just sending the parts that I need. I can only imagine how out of hand this would have gotten if left to the incompetence of Home Depot to fix their own mistakes.I have been a long time Home Depot customer, as most people have. They have a thing where you can pay $15 to escalate your complaint up the chain of hierarchy, sounds like another waste of time added on top of the rest of this...Hopefully they'll see this and realize what a run around this was and be interested in making things right.

Special thanks to Anna in the paint department for helping me pick out outdoor wood stain for my son's sandbox. Very happy with what she recommended and her knowledge.

I just had to call out some AMAZING service I got from Ben in the lumber cutting department yesterday. I've been to a number of Home Depot's for similar but Ben was the most patient and helpful person in that department I had ever experienced. Truly great customer service and he did a great job with the cuts too, thanks!

Asked an associate to help me purchase an appliance that was on display. He literally laughed at me and said "oh we don't stock anything you see there, it has to be ordered. If you want one go to Bestbuy to buy it." And walked away. What a joke. I would have ordered it if he hadn't laughed and just walked away. I'm not in sales but an associate that laughs at and walks away from a customer wanting to buy a big ticket item probably isn't a good thing.

ATTENTION: RACIST STAFFI came to buy a tool with me dad. We asked for help from a person. I don't know his name but he works in the tools section and is a white old man. When I asked him something, he acted like if he is doing a favour by helping me. He was constantly shaking his head when asked something and was rude while having conversation. He was behaving nicely with other white fellows but I guess he did not like our brown colour.I would suggest every colored person to be away from this business.

Very rude older man who works here. White guy with grey hair and a well trimmed full beard. Learn to listen when customers talk and don’t say, “I forgot plumbers knows everything”, in such a sarcastic and rude way. Not my fault I make great money and he’s old and still at an entry level job that my young nephew can get. Don’t blame others just because you’re unhappy with your life. Quit and work somewhere where there’s no customers

I love my Langley Home Depot. As someone who needs to regularly take care of house hold maintenance, I can trust the team to help point me in the right direction.A *HUGE* shout-out to Jay in Lumbar. He was extremely patient, kind and helpful. He listened to what I asked for and helped me figure out the best way to create a support for my bed. He gave me the confidence to use the drill for the first time to put the pieces together after cutting them to the perfect sizes. I appreciate his help immensely! Thank you for being such a wonderful person and giving me the right instructions and tips to complete the job.I couldn't have done it without Jay from Lumbar! He is an incredible resource for those needing help to complete a home project.

I want to start by saying the service provided to us by Louis at your customer service desk was unparalleled. 5/5.We waited for an hour to have a manager flagged down to help us charge our company account as no one seemed to know how to do it.Though we were frustrated during the 1.5 hour long wait and the 20 times he called for managers - he didn't lose his cool once.I would reccomend training you part time employees to know how to do this. 5 different employees came and went and none seemed to know. The other manager also didn't know resulting in an even longer wait.Regardless - Louis you are fantastic and deserve to be recognized for your patience and professionalism.Thank you !

If you order through Home Depot Decorating Centre, you’d better hope you get exactly what you’re expecting, because their customer service and commitment to their products is horrendous.I ordered blinds for various windows and a patio door in Spring of 2022. They sent out both a designer, and an installer to measure for the blinds, and they were to be ready in 4 to 6 weeks. After 2 months, I was notified that the installation would be delayed until August because there was no hardware included with the order. When the blinds were installed in August, despite having two separate individuals come for measurements, all the valance heights were hung at very different levels to each other, and there was no standard between them. The valance in the living room is in line with the window frame. The valance in the dining room is THREE AND A HALF INCHES above the window frame.Despite the lack of quality in the installation, I contacted Home Depot to request that they only fix or replace the blinds in the dining room that were hung absurdly high, almost at the ceiling height. In spite of many contacts with the installer, the design expert and a home depot customer service representative, they all passed off responsibility, promised to have someone in management call me, and never followed through. A year later, my dining room blind still sits just off the ceiling.
