Had an amazing wedding there! They were able to adapt everything to my wants and needs. Very nice people 👍

Played a day right after it rained and the course was understandably wet and muddy. No standing water on the greens, and the speed was still decently fast. Fairways were soft, but overall okay considering this time of year.
The course is a good combination of some tight doglegs as well as some wide open fairway tee shots.
Some advice for management - Add some anti-slip weather strips on the wooden bridges, they are extremely slippery when wet. My group nearly had a few falls, especially on the uphill bridge between 16 and 17.

Worth it, it’s really cheap compare to some other Golf courses around.

I have nothing but AMAZING things to say about Redwoods! From my very first meeting until the end of our wedding night, the experience was flawless.
Working primarily with their decorator, Tracey from Cinderella Slip-on, was a dream. I booked the venue over a year in advance, and she kept in touch throughout the planning process, especially in the final months leading up to the wedding. From our monthly meetings starting January 2024, Tracey helped bring my vision to life in ways I couldn’t have imagined!
On the day itself, everything ran seamlessly. If any issues arose, we didn’t hear a peep—everything was taken care of in the background. Walking into the venue took my breath away. The setup was perfect, the ambiance was everything we’d hoped for, and the food was delicious (from what we heard, as we were too nervous to eat much ourselves!).
One tip: we opted to switch out the ceremony chairs, and it was worth every penny. The impact on the overall look was stunning, elevating the venue even more.
Our day was beautiful beyond words, and I can’t recommend Redwoods highly enough. If you're considering this venue, go for it! And definitely ask for Jill; she was an absolute rockstar throughout.

Used to be a great course for the value. After renovations prices raised 30-40% but conditions did not improve at all. Tee box is comparable to the rough at a premium course, fairways and rough are inconsistent - wet, muddy and patchy in many areas, some bunkers are gravel filled without sand still, greens are mediocre.
Would've been worth 4 stars if it was priced appropriately but for $110 it should play like it and it surely did not.

Course is in nice shape and the greens are fast. Very wet.

Outstanding course, by far my favourite. Always in great condition. Twosomes should be aware that your time might get bumped 10-20mins without notice so if you’re on a tight schedule maybe call the proshop. Have had one unpleasant encounter with a marshall over the summer however that does not define the atmosphere. The staff there is great. Would definitely recommend

The course itself is in decent shape. The lunch in the clubhouse was delicious. Recommend the Honey Hot chicken sandwich. The staff in the pro shop were much friendlier than whoever I spoke to on Wednesday. The biggest complaint is a 5+hr round is an absolute JOKE on a thursday, early afternoon. They need to get a handle on this it's pathetic. Makes the day less enjoyable.

We had booked a tee time days before our tee off and received a notification that our tee time was cancelled the day before our tee off. we called the pro shop to see why this had happened and they notified us that they tried to cancel someone else's and accidentally cancelled ours, but then our tee time got booked up after they cancelled our original one by mistake. after talking to the pro shop they told us we can re book to a later afternoon slot and could do nothing for us other than that. to me this is very poor service as we did not cancel our time, they did on there end. needless to say i will not golf here nor will i recommend this to any of my future friends or clients.

Great golf course! The staff are fantastic and the starter Sunday morning was funny but kept the groups moving. They are hosting a PGA event next week and the course in fantastic shape.

UPDATE** - came back to try again as I saw that redwoods replied to the review stating they had updated their sign. Yes, they updated their sign. However, when I showed up at 7:30 PM, they had somebody standing there claiming it was a busy day and they were all out of balls for the night. When I asked if they would collect them again, he simply replied no. Very poor customer service yet again from redwoods. Will not be back to this piss poor establishment again
Come to the driving range frequently but apparently they don't follow the hours on the weekend. Says the range closes at 9 with the last balls being sold 30 mins before however I have come a few times now to see the machine has been cut off closer to 60 mins before close. Quite annoying and won't be coming back

Redwoods was one of my favourite golf courses in the lower mainland. I was excited to play it today for the first time since the course was closed for 2 years or so.
Unfortunately, it was a rainy day and damp conditions were expected. But for $109, I didn’t expect the fairways to be so soggy and for the golf balls to plug! We’ve had a stretch of hot weather yet, the course was playing like it was early spring. A few of the tee boxes needed to be leveled too.
I’ve seen a few reviews that uttered the same sentiment and I was a bit skeptical. But after seeing it with my own eyes, to say I’m disappointed is an understatement.

Course was in beautiful shape. Poured rain for 5 holes but dried up really fast as its quite hilly. Walkable course but a heck of a treck. Should have carted

It's my first time practicing hitting balls at the Redwoods driving range. The place looks beautiful, but I had to wait about 25 minutes to purchase a range card. (Back in 5 minutes sign) Instead of saying "how's going" should have been better if the staff said "sorry ablut the wait" the staff was not accommodating enough.
