shipped a package using next day shipping to the US. It got lost. I understand these things happen and packages get lost, but I am not happy with how things were handled after this. Therefore the 1 star is not for lost package
The package had a document that cost me money and time to get. When i asked them to file a claim to investigate for lost package, i asked them "should i consider the package lost because I will re-send the contents of the package?". They said yes. Also, UPS has $100 liability in case of lost package. Now after few days, they tell me the package is found and is on the way to the destination. Now 2 of my duplicate documents are at the destination. And UPS did not refund me the money for the contents of the package. I would have expected this UPS store to have told me to either wait till investigation is over or there is a chance if package is found I will not get the refund for contents of the package.
Also, they mentioned that they will call me when they have an update at various steps. But i had to check back multiple times to ask about the status of investigation and refund. They had the answer when i called them, so gives the impression they just didn't take the time to update me and waited for me to call.
Oh well, i lost some of my $$ and time

I forgot to copy down my tracking number before dropping off the package and realized I needed it to check something. To my amazement, the store clerk (Ashleigh), not only remembered who I was based on a 15 second interaction, but she was able to help me find the tracking number and sent me a photo of the package. It's not often that you find people who care and are so helpful and I just wanted to acknowledge her for being so helpful and willing to help. Thank you!

First off anyone who gives this location a bad review is a gearbox and has not had to go to Maple Ridge location. I am down with MR as they have lost 2 of my packages and cost me thousands of dollars in losses.
I thought why not drive a bit further and get some service. The girls behind the counter were really great. I even had to wait for a long winded customer that wad one of those types who just gives no F’s as the line grows and they ask the same stupid question over and over hoping for a new answer. Ashleigh was calm and deliberate in her responses.
For you that live in apartment complexes and have issues it’s the UPs drivers that are doing the drops not these ladies. So take a chill pill.

Ashleigh and the new hire Britney were great and enthusiastic! I had a complex series of packages going all over and they were very kind and patient with me. They handled especially well given it is the holiday season and the excess load with the Canadian postal strike.

These girls, Ashley and Madison are killing it dealing with the extra work from fallout of the Canada Post strike! Make sure to pack your patients! They are processing HUNDREDS more packages than they normally would at this time of year.

UPS left a note on my door to pick up the package at this location. Package was tracked and received at the location at 5:45PM on Friday. Went to the store at 10AM the next day to pick it up and they can’t even find the package. Very disappointed, not sure how the package was lost in a short time frame.

Why don't you enter the building? The UPS users residing at 20325 85 Ave are extremely upset. My wife waited at home all afternoon to receive the package. Of course, the phone number was written on the package. However, since there was no contact, she went down to the first floor only to find another notice stuck and the delivery person gone. Please warn the responsible party.
