Went here for three years- was very up front with saying that I know absolutely nothing about what I'm supposed to be doing tax wise with my small business and was reassured that I would be helped. Got a GST number for the next year, and presented it to my tax preparer with the understanding that it would be put onto my file. Come to find it wasn't. I was told that the CRA would tell me what I owed for GST, and that they would provide an amount owing based on my tax return. Unfortunately that is absolutely not the case and now I'm owing penalties and interest for a missed GST payment AND as it turns out, a penalty for not paying my GST in instalments. Super cool that I wasn't made aware of any of these things despite specifically asking if I had to do anything instalment wise/filing a return for GST. Same with my income tax. 0 information on if I had to pay instalments or not despite me SPECIFICALLY asking. Overall, very upset to have spent near $300 to be essentially jerked around by the CRA thanks to Liberty Tax. Still working through issues they caused for me months later

Super quick and easy. He was straightforward with me and fit me in an appointment last minute. It's $85 but it's way better than dealing with HR Block's incompetence.

I set an appointment for noon and arrived ten minutes before my time. The receptionist at the front did not seem to understand that I had an appointment, and had me wait. I waited for 35 minutes after my appointment time before leaving. There seemed to be only one accountant, the receptionist, and a man wandering around and staring at my partner and I from their break room after we confirmed that I had an appointment and that we were becoming upset at the wait.At 25 minutes after my appointment time, we asked what was going on and they blamed the person who had an appointment prior, and it should only be 10 more minutes.We left after waiting those extra 10 minutes as the receptionist seemed to disappear and there was no one to inform that we were leaving.The walnut grove location is by far superior with only 5 minute wait times.My only silver lining is that I only wasted time here rather than wasting money.

Paid 90$ for one year of taxes still haven't received anything no contact no return no email...I've left numerous voice mails with zero response..it's coming up to 6months now. Was I scammed out of my money? I paid cash for the services... what should I do about this?
