The items in this shop are not a dollar or two dollars. You can't even buy a dishcloth without spending $12 plus tax. A $4 plastic container is gonna cost $14 in this shop! Same can be said for The Great Canadian Dollar Store in Cowichan, though Cowichans shop is immaculate.

Worst customer experience of my life. Wouldn’t let me pay for what we wanted and tried to make us buy something else, and was rude about the bags I used and lectured us on it. just wasn’t friendly at all from the get-go even when we were walking to check out.

instead of being greeted got yelled at to put out bags at the front (we both just had a purse/tote) then yelled at again bc we didn’t put them in the right place?? the lady also called toddlers stupid & the whole experience was super uncomfortable
