One of the worst banks I've ever been to. To much trying to control what you do with your money. No professionalism in this bank at all. No customer service skills. Listen to what your customer wants to do with there money not what the bank wants or advisers think is best for you. Every friend whose gone and opened and account was pressured into investing in something they didn't want. Each one of us has closed our accounts this year. Taken our money to a better financial institute.

MISSION branch financial planners contacted me out of the blue after seeing that I had deposited money from a real estate transaction in MISSION, the first one was really pushy and even told me some outright lies, I got rid of her, only to be contacted by a second one by phone and mail whom I completely ignored .I NEVER deal with financial planners and don't like the predatory behavior of the ones at the MISSION branch. This started 3 years ago!!

Every time I go here the inside atm is locked the outside one never works on weekends so if u want to deposit u can’t u have to drive to Abbotsford or maple ridge it’s ridiculous

I got a savings account through scotiabank in mission bc and my card doesn't work for online bankingWhenI to their website to sign in every time wanting me to phone their toll free number not doing that anymore going there to get my money and close my account and go to a bank that doesn't do that to customers

Absolutely the worst banking experience I’ve ever had. Having recently moved to Canada, I decided to give Scotiabank a try. I’ve been using their services since I got my job, regularly depositing my payroll cheques. Unfortunately, I’ve noticed that their on-hold policy extends beyond the expected 5 business days.The recent deposit I made on December 21 has become a source of intense frustration. As of January 3, my cheque is still under hold, even after reaching out to customer service twice. Initially, I was assured it would be released by midnight on January 2nd, but nothing changed. Upon contacting them again, Toby informed me that the bank initiated the hold on the cheque on December 27, requiring me to adjust my expectations once more. This situation is absolutely infuriating and beyond absurd. This is enough. Its time to find another bank.

My wife and I just love this Branch. Retired now, but we have been Scotiabank members since 1975 and this Branch since 1985.They have expanded and enhanced the meaning of the word" service"The desk staff are unfailingly kind and helpful. Our financial advisor has steered us through some tricky times with the economy. I would love to give names but not safely appropriatethese days.Well done Scotiabank Staff, and thank you.J and S.

Probably the worst branch I've dealt with ever, I've been in the banking business myself and I honestly don't know who's running this show here but change is needed. Whoever the Regional Manager should really read the reviews.
