Old but gold! Beautiful clean historic hotel and restaurant. Friendly staff and restaurant / bar in the bottom. Right on the lakefront with fantastic views.

Room 4 has a staircase inside the room about 2 or so feet from the entrance. To the right there’s a closet that the bathroom is in where the lighting choice was loud fan and light or Nothing upstairs everything is nice except there’s a bed in the closet making it the “three bedroom suite” but on the upside they had windows looking out oh the lake and was very pretty. The staff were so kind but I do find it weird the hotel check-in was a bar with a sticker on it saying “hotel check in” and somehow the carpet was sticky??

Best place in town, best food, best price, best staff.family owned by blood, beloved by the entire town for generations. The one constant with little change! Perfect, now run by Angela hier to nakusp treasure, and part of the family! It's old it's historic and the right price...it's not gussied up...but it's not a super 8...it's your grandma's house unchanged and just how you remembered it.a comfortable place where you don't need to hide the real you. K8ck your feet up and to hell with formalities! This is a Time capsule, don't ever change Leland hotel. It would be a great tragedy! R.I.P. Dan...we will try our best to keep the torch going!Nearby activities: 2 other bars, many eateries are plenty to seeSafety: This whole village is safe as horsesWalkability: Right where you want itFood & drinks: Unmatched community spirit and pub! Restaurant offers fantastic views and historic scenes

An excellent place to stay for the Blue Knuckle Fishing Derby. Food is excellent. Beautiful waterfront views and the boat dock is just a short walk down from the hotel.

In general I think this hotel is acceptable to spend the night but they could be better, it is the first hotel in nakusp, a historic place to stay, the location is his best asset because you can explore the entire city center on foot and in the mornings go for a walk in front of the lake, is the most affordable hotel in nakusp but it still has a bad quality-price ratio, it has a restaurant and bar, the staff is very friendly, the room despite being small had what was necessary, I think they should improve some details in the room, the bed was not very comfortable, lighting because the bathroom and room are pretty dark, that the doors block the light from the hallway well because it is somewhat uncomfortable when you try to sleep, better general state of the hotel, something good is if you have pets you can stay here and the wifi reaches the room perfectly, the stay ok but, i wont choose this hotel again in next visits.

For a really old hotel, it is in fantastic shape. Room was small but clean. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was compact but clean. The hotel has a restaurant/bar and there was even live music on new years day evening. They weren't serving a full menu but we were still able to eat. Would stay again.

Staff was great. Location great . The bed was like sleeping on a Banana the pillows 1" thick. Toilet ran all night. 2 " gap around the door like having a bright night light.

We stayed in one of the top rooms, and the place could not have been any cuter! This hotel has been in operation since 1892 (how cool!). It's really cozy and accompanied with character that will take your back to your childhood. We will definitely be back to stay for weekend hot spring getaways in the future.

Old place. Old room. Old carpet stained. Old beds that creak. Spider in every corner. Bathroom was clean. You really need to lower your expectations to stay here. Doubtful we will ever do it again. Would give 1 star but the staff was excellent. The bar is nostalgic of the 70's. And yet they were booked solid...

We found this gem of a hotel by accident. The cabin we reserved canceled on us last minute and we had our dog. Special thanks to Erin for booking us in and greeting us and our puppy with such a warm welcome! The bar and lounge were great and filled full of amazing people. The rooms were cozy and cute (we did not realize its the oldest hotel in BC) Shout out to all the wonderful locals we met including Constable Mike! Thanks for being so cool and welcoming. You all have restored our faith that decent people still exist. Awesome trip all around, will stay there again!

I love Nakusp and the Leland is no exception. Great views, lovely staff! The rooms do need a bit of lipstick to bring them up to a modern standard but are everything you want out of a safe clean place to stay! The food located downstairs was fabulous! The burgers tasted like burgers! Very reasonable pricing especially with today's inflation. The meat was perfect! Charbroiled perfection and not greasy! Most Cesar salads throw on bacon and it serves as a visual more then anything, but you could taste the bacon in the salad which was so satisfying!Gluten free options are available! Thanks for the needed break!I'll be back next time I'm in Nakusp! For food and rest!
