The engine light came on in my 2006 BMW X3 on the Saturday morning, when I was heading off on my road trip. I took the car to Bavarian Imports based on location and other comments. The head mechanic/owner was there and I was able to leave my car in their secure yard over the weekend. They worked on my car first thing Monday. I was back on the road early arvo. Great service, honest, not as expensive as I was expecting. Highly recommend.

Be ware
Was just quoted $150 for a simple light replacement (we have the light part), they also said it would take an hour. This shouldnt take more than 20 minutes, you take off the mirror frame, unclip a few clips and the light prongs, take off the mirror and unscrew the led light part then put it back... Not sure if they are inefficient or are just trying to pull wool over our eyes.
Jiffy lube quoted us the same job ... $8. Thanks.

Yet another positive experience with Klyntt and his team at Bavarian. I won't dwell on the actual issue(s) with my BMW 5-series, other than they diagnosed and fixed the problem professionally and in a (very!) timely fashion. I have taken a variety of vehicles to Klyntt over what seems far too many years, regardless, I respect his judgement and appreciate his honesty implicitly.
HIghly recommended for any vehicle type, but Klyntt and his crew seem to have a genuine feel for European makes, especially older models, which can take on a life of their own, it seems. Fair pricing and consistent integrity, in addition to treating the customer as an actual human-being not a bottomless ATM. Tough commodities to find!

Came in from Vancouver and had a check engine sign pop up on our car. We went into this place after reading all the positive reviews. Without an appointment and they were able to diagnose the issue promptly and let us know that it wasn’t going to be a major repair that impede on our trip, all free of charge! They truly deserve all the positive reviews! Thank you guys:)

A very big thank you to the Bavarian imports team who were able to repair your European vehicle Fiat Ducato, even though we had broken down in Nanaimo for 1 month. No one could help us but Bavarian received us without an appointment and was able to find the solution. We can never thank them enough.

My car had the oil light on so I brought my car in to have it fixed. Got my car back with a dent and scratch. A day later the oil light came back on. Brought the car back in AGAIN for a second time within about 3 days. Clint told me:
"its impossible the dent and scratch is from them because the dent and scratch is no where near the hood"... He dismissed the possibility of his shop causing the damage even tho it was NOT there prior to giving him my vehicle... On top of this they had to take my car a second time because they didn't complete the job properly the first time. Horrible customer service, lack of professional ability and just an over all terrible experience. Clint and Bavarian have lost a customer for life in me.

Great experience here. Diagnosed the problems, fixed what needed to be done and more than fair pricing with quick turn around. I don’t trust many shops but have full confidence taking a vehicle here. Definitely the best choice in the Nanaimo area. Thank you Bavarian team.
