I visited the chevron in Nanaimo, B.C. On Terminal Ave 222. I visited around 5:30pm on August 23rd 2023. My boyfriend and I were going to fill up my car. I was waiting for my phone to turn on so I could pay. There was no other vehicles waiting for a pump so I stayed parked there for a few minutes. I decided to throw out some garbage so I did, and kept waiting in my car for my phone to turn on so I could proceed to pay at the pump. The employee with the name tag “Kev”. He proceeded to come out of the store, come up to my vehicle yelling at us. He accused us of “filling up his garbage cans” and not buying anything. We told him we were waiting for my completely dead phone to turn on since it was my only way of paying. He kept raising his voice getting into our faces very aggressively. I told him he should not be talking to customers that way and he told me to come inside (very rudely) to fill out a whole complaint booklet. I then went in to ask for this “complaint booklet) because I was so shocked at how he was treating us and the way he was talking and screaming. I went inside and he told me he did not have any way for me to make a complaint other than writing on a back of a previous customers receipt so he could give it to his manager. I told him I would go higher up because that way of giving a complaint seemed very unlikely to be useful in this situation. I was so upset and told him to never talk to people like that, and he never apologized once. I have been getting gas at that chevron for some time. I have never had such an awful experience. I will never go back to that location as long as he works there. And I hope no other person has to go through being bullied by one of your employees.

Great gas, free air, bad card reader at the pumps. zaps you. Happened twice. finger hurt for 2 days each time.
UPDATE: no longer free air at Chevron.
