I want to share a huge thank you to Jacob at the Best Buy Nanaimo store for spending countless hours with me helping sort out a mix-up with my phone plan. From start to finish, Jacob went above and beyond, showing patience, kindness, and genuinely amazing customer service.
With the approval and support of Jerry, the store manager, they were able to accommodate me not just once, but twice with a phone solution. On top of that, I was pleasantly surprised with a $250 gift card, especially since my bill barely increased — something I truly did not expect.
I’ve purchased every one of my phones and electronics from Best Buy since I moved to the island in 2012, and experiences like this are exactly why I continue to shop there and recommend Best Buy to my friends.
Yes, you may have to wait in line sometimes, but my only advice would be to make the cell phone department larger, because the staff clearly work incredibly hard to help everyone.
