Don’t go to this pharmacy for your vaccine shots! My husband and I booked, got confirmations, and reminders about our Covid/flu shots and then arrived at our appointed time only to find out that they had cancelled the appointments without telling either of us! They said they were short-staffed and had to cancel a few clinics. If you can’t fulfill your commitment with the BC Ministry of Health, then don’t sign up with them to host vaccine clinics! Very poor customer service. Book with a smaller pharmacy where they can actually accommodate you.

Excellent service, respectful phone calls, attention to accuracy!We switched to Costco because our friends told us that the rates were lower, so off we go to Costco. The only hassle would be if you have mobility issues, because the parking lot is large, the building is huge inside and there can be waiting in line. But my husband is doing the picking up while I wait for hip replacements :) I'm IMPRESSED with the courtesy and respectful friendliness which overlies the high degree of professionalism of the pharmacists and the adjunct staff. If ever there is a problem with them, we will have this good basis for our dealings with them.

I was travelling from the mainland and had unfortunately ran out of a necessary prescription. I phoned my home Costco and they directed me to Nanaimo for help. I call from Victoria, talked with Glen, who said he would contact my Burnaby Store and see what he could do. ("and he said he would get right on it"). Three hours later when I arrived at the Nanaimo Pharmacy, I showed my card and picked up my prescription, just like home. I am very impressed with that attention to my needs. Thank you Glen.

The dispensing fees and med prices are great! The staff has always been pleasent, especially the cashiers. Recently, however, I have had to deal with one VERY unpleasant pharmacist. Make sure you don't have any questions about your meds or dispensing to avoid any eye rolls.

The staff at this store are generally excellent. The customers are also better than average and that makes shopping here a good experience. Thank you Nanaimo Costco.

Wonderful Pharmacy staff. I suggest if you are having issues with them filling your prescription you contact your doctor to get refills. It is NOT their job to babysit you.

I love, love shopping at Costco. Returns are never a problem but the pharmacy is just not good. Orders are wrongly filled for quantities but not due to government or covid19 restrictions. Assured call backs never once happened. That may be whether a doctor ok'd or faxed a prescription in and it's ready for pickup. What's keeps me coming back are their dispensing fees and pharmaceutical prices.

Fantastic prices, terrible service. 3rd time going to pick up a prescription only to find out that they don't have it. 3rd time asking why they didn't call me to let me know. 3rd time being told that according to the notes, they did. No call, no missed calls, showed them my phone history, got the "I don't know, I wasn't here" response. Had them call my number while I stood there to ensure that they had the correct number, even after verifying it each time this has happened, it rang no problem. Shouldn't have to explain that if they actually make the call instead of just noting that they did, it would be a much less frustrating experience. I can understand if this happened once, but three times?! What should have been a 10 min visit to pick up a prescription took an hour. Shopping at Costco...awesome! Doing returns at Costco...simple! Picking up a prescription...the worst part about going to Costco. Unfortunately, I can't switch due to my drug plan. :( !
