Rude staff I go here almost every day and purchase things today I went in there and was going to buy shampoo and shower things and this man comes up to me and all of a sudden I’m banned and this is news very rude and disrespectful staff they said if I step foot near the store they will have me arrested let me add I have never done anything wrong in this store and I’m only 13 and they where yelling at me acting like they knew who I was I hope they get fired and there are homeless people everywhere

Great selection of products from household supplies to toys to food. Much of the food is brand name and at great prices!
Store is always clean, staff are always friendly and helpful.
Easy to get to, most buses in town stop at the bus exchange across from the mall. Or if you drive, the mall has loads of parking.

Why do these guys close an hour earlier on Saturday than all the other Dollar stores if the same name? Just curious. Thought they were all the same. Nope.

$1 bags for $2 crappy… should have other options or at least cheaper options than $2 “eco fees” bags… who pays $2 for those ugly green bags. Those should be free with a $40 purchase… ripping people off at the till leaves a bad taste in your mouth at the end of the sale and gets you bad reviews.

Generally good experience at the port place location, product staff all good..... but as I was in with my toddler yesterday, a person on drugs had come in, and I guess filling his jacket up with product. The older lady staff started screaming at him and followed him out as he yelled back carring chocolate bars out the door. She was visually very angry, understandable, but then continued to vent/shout at a young boy and maybe grandma and other adult for longer then she should have. She came back to apologize but was still wound up. I told her she needs to calm down because this 10ish yr old boy who had nothing to do with the situation looked upset and looked like he may cry. They really need proper security there, and I totally feel for the frustration of all the stealing, but that could have been handled a lot better. Was happy my toddler didn't understand. Basically be prepared for potential people on drugs etc

The most disrespectful staff works here. Manager named Devika was damnn rude with me when i asked her for help. Dollarama should take care of their customer service.

I sincerely hope this Dollarama goes under and gets shut down. I just witnessed the "manager" and one of the employees, both older woman yelling at a customer, about being in the store for an hour? The woman buying her things clearly had mental health complications/limitations like Anxiety. And they ganged up on her and treated her like she was an animal, or a small child. I was literally in there for 10 minutes and witnessed very gross and degrading behavior from both employee and manager. Absolutely no compassion or understanding for anyone. I understand this is a bad area of town but it gives NOBODY the right to treat someone like less of a human being or interrogate them. Don't work in customer service if you can't control your emotions.
Sincerely someone who also has high functioning anxiety and could see that poor girl was struggling.

Went there at 730 , staff said they are closed asked what time the close he says 845! Ok it’s 730 staff replies I mean 745 .Ok well that’s still 15 more mins. Nope wouldn’t let us in . This is not the first time this happened either . What a joke .
