“I needed help with an issue I was having with my Samsung cell phone. The young gentleman who assisted me was able to figure out what the issue was and fixed my phone for me. I was very anxious when I walked in, as I had tried to fix the problem for 2 hours at home before I went into Best Buy Mobile for help. I came out feeling like a new person. I want to share a huge thank you to Jacob at the Best Buy Nanaimo store for spending countless hours with me helping sort out a mix-up with my phone plan. From start to finish, Jacob went above and beyond, showing patience, kindness, and genuinely amazing customer service.
With the approval and support of Jerry, the store manager, they were able to accommodate me not just once, but twice with a phone solution. On top of that, I was pleasantly surprised with a $250 gift card, especially since my bill barely increased — something I truly did not expect.
I’ve purchased every one of my phones and electronics from Best Buy since I moved to the island in 2012, and experiences like this are exactly why I continue to shop there and recommend Best Buy to my friends.
Yes, you may have to wait in line sometimes, but my only advice would be to make the cell phone department larger, because the staff clearly work incredibly hard to help everyone.

“The worker Amit at the 5th street 711 in Nanaimo bc is a very kind fair man we tried to get the night snack discount and the other workers refused to give us it while the promotion is available yet he stepped up and helped us with the order and they did not have the potato wedges available at the time he told us that it would be a 5min wait and during that time for our inconvenience he offered us a fountain drink which we kindly expected I'd like to see this man take up a manager's position or some kind of raise for his hospitality and kindness toward customers”
“Stop in occasionally to pick up lunch on the run. I've always found the staff pretty friendly. The hot chicken is great. The hotdogs and taquitos are not very tasty, and a little pricey in my opinion.
They still fill the spot for me when I'm too lazy to cook, and want something ready to eat.”

“London Drugs is a great store, that has a electronics section which is all high class. There is also a lot of food items, and the main Pharmacy has everything you could ever want. The staff are friendly and helpful too.”
