“Made a quick stop at Nesvog's and then walked over to the BC liquor store. I picked up a very dependable (doesn't disappoint) bottle of Bodacious Malbec (red) table wine with a price point of $10.99 before taxes and I also chose a bottle of White Bodacious Pinot Grigio with a sale price of $9.99 before taxes. There is a nice light and airy feeling at this particular store, staff always friendly and they make a point of asking if they can help you or do I have any questions? Kind of gives me that small town-feel like you know everyone "feeling". Good variety of spirits, liqueurs, beer, wine, coolers, etc. Happy with my purchase and price. I know they have the finer wines available should the occassion call for it. No waiting for extended periods of time, these professionals know what they're doing and they're smiling while doing it. "That's the way, Uh-huh, Uh-huh I like it, Uh huh, Uh huh" Lol.”

“I ordered on Skip the Dishes but my order got mixed up? Northgate was quick to fix it outside of skip and even gave me a few souvenirs. Always have a pleasant experience with staff when I actually go in the store. Best liquor store with options in the north end of Nanaimo”

“Friendly staff, had someone handing out samples which was nice. Very knowledgeable about all the wine and a very large wine selection. Would recommend over other BC liquor stores as it has cold drink options as it's a cold zone. Not sure why all BC liquor stores aren't like this.”

“This place has a limited selection but the staff is AWESOME! and they have a customer loyalty program that rewards you with "cash back" in the form of free booze. The selection of mix here is also limited but does include pop and juice I believe. The prices here are jumping up higher and faster than other stores and what used to be my go-to soda stand no longer is, sadly. The owner has gone too far. You're killing us with the price hikes E.T.!”

“The staff are always a treat. I live in the neighborhood so I have gotten used to picking up some pop and chips and enjoyed getting to know them. Super friendly. Although I don’t buy their main products lol it’s a pretty good spot to get some booze as it looks like there is plenty of variety to choose from.”
