In May of 2023, I purchased a Samsung phone at Money Max for $330.Three months later, I'm trying to get a number on this phone, and nothing is working.After talking with the tech guys at London dugs multiple times, we find out the phone has been blacklisted this whole time.My friend and I head over to Money Max to "resolve the issue" only for the two chicks behind the counter to argue with me about how this can't happen.Despite me literally standing there with the bank statements, confirming I purchased the phone from Money Max.After 15 minutes of the chicks defending the store, they set me up with a replacement, but they charged me another $120 bucks for an older model than the previous blacklisted phone. They took the charger out of the box and kept it.Then they told me they couldn't transfer my information to the replacement phone because "Oh, were Apple people."So my friend had to argue with me and do their job for them. He even had to wipe the phone for them.These chicks did absolutely nothing other than argue and then charge me more money to replace an illegally blacklisted phone they sold me.

Money Maxx has been my go to for a pawn shop forever! they’ve been around for while in the community as well so highly trusted! Never had any issues and the staff is always awesome! Clean store overall and when an item is listed “like new” it actually is!

I went and got a simple Amp, took it home and it diddent work!Went back and tried 3 more, 2 diddent work, got one I thought would work but overheated so I had to bring it back as well.They were super unhelpful and tried selling amps that don't work! Plus everything was over priced!I will never go back to moneymaxx ever again! WHAT A JOKE

I purchased a cellphone that supposed to be working good but the phone battery get low too fast and charge doesn't last long. It turns off very fast. Avoid buying from these people.
