About Nanaimo Aquatic Centre
The Nanaimo Aquatic Centre (NAC) is a great facility and a great destination for folks of all ages. It is home to one of the largest wave pools in western Canada and one of the island's busiest 50 metre pools. The centre has multiple pools, including lanes, a lazy river, and a kids pool with a beach theme, plus fast waterslides and diving boards. Amenities include a large hot tub, a steam room, a sauna, and lots of lockers. The NAC also has a surprisingly good gym and one of the city's public weight rooms with plenty of machines and fitness equipment, though the gym can feel a bit crowded at times. The locker rooms are a bit chaotic with wet floors. The facility offers cheap drop-in prices and has a pleasant atmosphere with art on the walls. Parking is very tight. It is an awesome facility with great staff and has something for everyone, from elite athletes to families.

A very good place to spend time with family. There is a swimming pool, sauna, steam room, gym, jacuzzi, and water slides. A very interesting place.

Large pool area, easy to access, great for young children. Clean changing area with lots of lockers.

Was pretty great.. until they had us vacate the pool lol
