“At the food court a small child accidentally fell and bumped her head, enough to leave a small welt. Within minutes, Morgan was there giving assistance. He saw it from his till, got someone to cover and immediately came to her aid. For a younger man, I was imlressed as how he took control of the incident and made the little girl feel comfortable and safe. He checked her out thoroughly and reassured the little girl the whole time it was going to be alright. She remained calm the whole time. To know what to do when medical attention is needed is one thing, but to be that compassionate is another. Very impressed. Well done!!! Also, we come every week for something and it never disappoints. Fast service, plenty of stock and price wise its fair. Been a member since 2000 and we moved here (Parksville) March 2024 and this is by far the best Costco we have been to.”

“5 stars if you come in the hour before they close--4 stars the rest of the day. But the 10pm staff seems like mostly teenagers and that's great that they can earn some money, but I'd rather you close at 9 PM and I have to be a little earlier, and let those kids go home.”
“I cannot recommend Central Drugs on dunsmuir highly enough. When my dad had a prolonged battle with cancer, the level of support and kindness received from the staff at Central was well above and beyond. The absolute highest recommendation I can give.”

“Then owner Lalit is the man love that guy beyond words can express and his wife and brother in law are just the same. Family run pharmacy....only downfall is that it can be a little scary with all the addicts in the neighborhood, but trust me they wouldn't harm a soul around that place, but they offer delivery and Lacy their daytime driver is an absolute gem..... Everyone that works their is very hospitable and very respectful and considerate towards all their clients.
Been using Outreach Pharmacy for over 10 years now and I will remain using them till the day I die.”
“The Port Place Thrifty's bakery is one of the best in town. When it comes to sweet treats this bakery in particular takes the cake. Even their cinnamon buns are better made than other Thrifty's bakeries. They put a lot of care in the things they bake and it makes a huge difference compared to other stores.”

“Excellent service, respectful phone calls, attention to accuracy!We switched to Costco because our friends told us that the rates were lower, so off we go to Costco. The only hassle would be if you have mobility issues, because the parking lot is large, the building is huge inside and there can be waiting in line. But my husband is doing the picking up while I wait for hip replacements :) I'm IMPRESSED with the courtesy and respectful friendliness which overlies the high degree of professionalism of the pharmacists and the adjunct staff. If ever there is a problem with them, we will have this good basis for our dealings with them.”
“I was a little upset after going to Lifelabs and being told at 4:10 they couldn’t get to me to give my blood as they all stood around laughing at 4:10. And then the pharmacy called at 4:30 as I’m in Ladysmith. I said I may not get there till 5:15 and they close at 5. Jacklyn says don’t worry. I’ll stay. She was amazing and cemented my business. “London Drugs is a great store, that has a electronics section which is all high class. There is also a lot of food items, and the main Pharmacy has everything you could ever want. The staff are friendly and helpful too.”
“This is my preferred grocery store. Friendly, accommodating staff. Fairly high quality produce, good meat department. Plus, they'll price match anyone else's flyer, so I end up getting Walmart prices on higher quality food. Plus, I use the points to get free BC Ferry passes.”

“I went with my 12-year-old son this afternoon to get the flu and Covid vaccines. My son hates vaccines, he has a huge fear of them. Duane was great, when he saw that he was scared, he changed the needle for a smaller one and gave him a different dose so that it was very short. My son didn't even realize he was giving him the vaccine. He looked at me and asked if we could always come back to see Duane to get his vaccines. Thank you Duane, what you did today for my son, he will never forget and who knows, thanks to you, maybe he won't be afraid of vaccines anymore.”
