They literally saved me over a grand for an improperly diagnosed issue! Never have I had a mechanic that was so honest and really eager to avoid unnecessary costs. I almost hate to review them so highly because they are so good I want to keep them a secret:)

Our 1997 4Runner with over 500km on the odometer had a bit of an emergency this week. The fuel pump went out and we were stranded. Chase and the mechanics at Precise Repairs came to our rescue. They identified the problem, got the parts, and fit us into their busy schedule. We had a looming ferry reservation to make things more exciting. Chase was very honest about the cost and the schedule so we knew how to plan. We are very happy with the services provided and happy to be back on the road. Thanks again and have a great Thanksgiving.

It is so refreshing to deal with a business in auto maintenance and repair that doesn't try to upsell you or take advantage of you. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone I know. In fact, I would go out of my way to email friends and family and encourage them to visit Precise instead of the typical dealership for car maintenance. Very happy I took the chance.

We just took our Tiguan in to Kerry's in Parksville for a brake job. What a wonderful company this is. Great communication, work done promptly, good price and only did what was needed. For the past 12 years I have been managing a fleet of 45 units (in 4 locations) here on the island. I rely on mechanic shops that excel in rates, accurate bookings and honest mechanical assessments.
Here in Nanaimo, I rely on Precise Mechanical to service our 19 units here in the central island.
With all that is involved with taking care of a fleet (it can be demanding at times), Precise Mechanical goes out of its way to help me maintain our fleet.
The young fellow (Cam) running the shop on Terminal Ave in Nanaimo is very knowledgeable and is great to work with. I would highly recommend anyone to call Precise if you are looking for an honest mechanically shop for your ride. They are busy and bookings are a bit in advance, so plan ahead if at all possible.
