Basic normal liquor store but awesome customer service top tear boyz always

They say that first impressions are important.
We needed an inexpensive bottle of wine to mix a fruity summer drink. I've never been to the Quarterway Liquor Store before, but since it's literally a five minute walk from the house, I went to check it out. The wine selection is actually very small, but the store itself is small. And in my case, I really just needed a dry white wine under $15, which I found no problem. The problem occurred when I went to pay, and the price rang in higher than what was listed on the shelf.
Of course this happens from time to time at my regular liquor store and other places I shop, and when I mention it, they adjust the price right away. But in this case, the young gal behind the counter declined to do that. She acknowledged there was a discrepancy, but it wasn't her fault, so too bad. I walked out.
It wasn't a huge amount, but I guess I'm still old-fashioned enough to believe that the price listed is the price you should pay. First impression... and very likely my last visit to the Quarterway Liquor Store. The convenient location is one thing, but such customer unfriendly business practices are something else altogether.

Customer Service ?. Small Store but they will order in product they don't have in stock if able, so long as it's Product of the 3 largest Brewers. You will not find Small Independent Brewers Products here.

This place has a limited selection but the staff is AWESOME! and they have a customer loyalty program that rewards you with "cash back" in the form of free booze. The selection of mix here is also limited but does include pop and juice I believe. The prices here are jumping up higher and faster than other stores and what used to be my go-to soda stand no longer is, sadly. The owner has gone too far. You're killing us with the price hikes E.T.!

Asked the waitress for water to start, then she completely ignored me as I tried to order drinks and food. Basically felt like I didn't even exist. Never had a service that bad. Didn't get to eat dinner.

I only go here from time to time if I'm coming back home from the north end. One of the most uninviting liquor stores in town. The workers either make fun of you together, ignore you, or are just plain mean. I've been told I need to shave my beard, I've been told I need to re-evaluate my life when going on early (I work graveyards, my 10pm is your 10am) and regardless of whether I'm on graveyards or not, if you open at 10 you should want to sell products. It's none of your business anyways.If it's not outward douchieness, they just stare at their phone and ignore your existence. I've even had to scan my own drinks. Don't get me wrong either. I'm always trying to be friendly. I've worked customer service loads and I truly believe customer service workers deserve the highest respect and kindness.Go to University Village liquor store. They are all very very kind and they don't feel the need to make comments on your appearance or perceived lifestyle. They also have far better selection. Quarterway liquor store only goes a quarter of the way to decent customer service.

Tiny little shop LOADED with all your favourite drinks. They have a points system, so if you leave your name, you earn points on every purchase. I just got a $5.00 15 case of beer last night. The staff are super friendly and seem happy to be there. There are closer stores to where I live, but these guys get my business, always.
