I wish there was a zero star. I just moved to the area and have always had a good experience getting my medicine every month at rexall. I just switched over to this location and had such an unpleasant experience. I found the red head lady with the lip piercing who “helped me” , come off as impolite. She lacks the ability and strength of customer service , communication and control of her attitude. I never make comments but the one time experience is enough for me to switch my prescription provider and to anyone who goes in there and experiences the same .. just know to not take it personal and have compassion for her. She might be lacking support and or just dislikes her job and helping people. Two thumbs down for her service.

A few years ago the white haired female pharmacist was so rude I moved my prescription file elsewhere and never went back. Went in today and she was just as obnoxious. I'll never enter that store again

I stopped at the Dufferin Crescent Rexall last night and received excellent customer service from Erika - professional, courteous and high in conscientiousness. I will definitely be returning to this location.

I thought the pharmacy was great. That's until our family had to start dealing with a very traumatizing end of life care situation for an aging parent. Carmen, the apparent manager refused to provide the updated medications in my mother's bubble packs after we would get updates from the doctor. They care more about the bottom line and not client care. This place is fake when it comes to customer service. It's bad enough that I had to post this google review. Cause other than leaving what else can be done. .. Very disgraceful Caremen. You should really reconsider ur role in that office and if ur actually making it toxic for not just clients but ur coworkers. Do not go here people. P. S. The other pharmacists were great, especially the lady with long dark hair, all three of u are awesome.

Don't care about leaving a dog in a hot car? Look at the rest of these reviews to tell you this place is a dumpster fire. Tons of other pharmacies in town. Shut this one down!

The pharmacist is so rude not only to me but to her staff I would never want to work with her. And by all the reviews about the rude pharmacist I know exactly what one their talking about. After rudely telling me on the phone I use my inhaler to much I came in and I asked the pharmacist in training " how long Is an inhaler supposed to last" she told me 17 days and I said well mine has lasted me 25 days and I was told on the phone that I use it to much which the pharmacist comes behind her and rudely said didn't I already talk to you on the phone. I said yes but I just had some questions. She told me that if I use it more then 3 times a week it's a sign my asthma isn't under control and I told her yes I know it's not under control I JUST got diagnosed with it when I went to the hospital with an asthma attack. She told me dramatically people are dying using it to much! and I told her well my doctor hasn't said anything to me and she said thats because he probably doesn't know I can contact him and tell him and I said he does know I have regular appts because we're trying to get my asthma under control(we've been trying to see what inhalers works best for me it takes some time to control it) well she actually contacted my Dr! And told him I use two puffs every 6 hours when I told her I use it once or twice a day including through the night so that would be once or twice in a 24 hour time frame not every 6 hours. and when I went to my asthma test I told the Dr doing the test the pharmacist gave me a hard time about using it more then 3 times a week so i have been struggling to breath lately because I've been trying not to use it she told me the pharmacist should not be giving me a hard time and to use it when I need it. Before this while I was waiting her pharmacist in training was writing something down for another customer she went up to her and rudely said your taking way to long grabbed the pen out of her had and started writing. Me and my mom looked at each other and were like wow! Way to treat someone who is in training. I feel like she was totally out of line it's not her job the lecture me in front of everyone making me feel like I was doing something wrong. My Dr knows what I use and how much because he prescribes it to me and he's a very good Dr.
I just got all of my prescription refills transfered because I cant handle going into there anymore. When I went in yesterday the same pharmacist got mad at one of her employees because someone asked for the price of something and she went up to her and said " We're to busy to be doing that!"

Went here for a prescription and the older lady pharmacist was extremely rude regarding it. She proceeded to go through my entire medical history and judging me, asking if I knew how to take my prescription or not, after I interrupted and asked her to stop reading my medical history, I just wanted to request a refill, she proceeded to talk over me reading out every prescription and doctors note I've had within the last couple years. I found that extremely disrespectful as I only needed a refill, I didn't need the commentary on my health or history. We sat waiting for my prescription after her 5mins of judgment, and she kept telling us to walk away from the pharmacy because she was busy.
Had to switch pharmacies because of this lady, I felt like she violated my privacy when it came to reading aloud my history while she made judgemental comments towards me.

The older lady pharmacist displayed an unprofessional demeanor during my recent visit to the pharmacy. Despite my prescription being called in a week in advance, it was not ready when I arrived. After waiting for 30 mins for the prescription to be filled, I discovered that it contained an error. When I brought this to the pharmacist's attention, she became agitated and defensive than proceed to tell me to leave cuz clearly I want happy with the service. I would stay far away from this place! Perhaps if counting and reading a prescription is a challenge, it's time for retirement.

The pharmacy tech is rude. There’s an older lady who clearly doesn’t have (or care to have) people skills. When someone asks you something about their RX, don’t give a snarky response like “hellll no” . Sorry that I don’t know the medications like you because I didn’t go to into pharmaceutical like you did. Oh “hellllll no” I won’t be going back to this pharmacy.

Today I went to pick up the remaining meds because Rexall only were able to partially fill the prescription weeks ago because they said they didnt have enough. At the time I received 7 out of 30 vyvanse pills even though they charged me for the full amount. Now they say I received all 30 pills despite the pill bottle clearly saying otherwise. It even has a "we owe you" sticker on the bottle. They didn't accept this as evidence and made up some excuse that the system is correct and we are wrong and we could have received two pill bottles making up the total amount, which we did not. They went on to explain that Vyvanse is a strictly controlled substance, it's locked in their safe, counted out carefully and reported daily to Health Canada. With all these controls in place, I ask you where did our 23 remaining pills go? Suspicious, isn't it? We will be following up with the college of pharmacists, Health Canada, and others to correct this wrong. The staff were rude, condensending, and we will not be dealing with them in the future. Our trust has been broken.

1st off the owner of the pharmacy Carmen is very very rude ! and 2nd the pharmacy owner gave me someone else's pain reliever dose and had to go to the hospital as I was overdosed and all she did was give her husband a epi pen to drop off I had to get my parent's to drive down from parksville to watch me sleep and wake me up every hr to make sure I was still alive , my mother and gf took turns watching me as all of us where very worried and we all missed work due to this . They have screwed up 3 times now including today so her advice was to get my meds some where else! Witch I was planning on the next time she screwed up ! Just giving a warning to everyone to double check what you sign and get !
Update! Was there today May 3rd grabbing my last prescriptions and moving to another pharmacy and there was another couple there dealing with the same problems that I've been dealing with! The couple was there for their daughter who needed her meds that keep her healthy and alive but they screwed up and said they already gave them to her as they've done the same to me three times so they left angry and had to talk with me and we have reported her to the college which will be investigating the issues ?
Again please be careful don't sign anything without going over your prescription and making sure everything's there!

Red head kid on Sunday April 28th turned his back on me and struggled to fill his stapler , nobody in line behind me, and I didn't need anything stapled, meanwhile, talking to himself the whole time. I turned around and walked out. I'm pretty sure he hasn't noticed and is still filling his stapler. I know it's hard to hire sometimes, but this kid has zero customer service skills.

Asked pharmacy for help locating an age requirement on a bottle of medicine and was pretty much told "that's how parents kill their kids" which is incredibly insensitive and 100% not something you should say as a "professional". I only bought the product she recommended because I was made to feel uncomfortable and got further advice elsewhere.
