Great place to find lots of household items and personal belongings in good, useable condition. The donation centre is a great option to drop off your own stuff which will also get you a coupon with discounts for store purchases. There is ample parking available.

Go anywhere else. We have a lot of local thrift stores, many of which are charity thrift stores. Value Village is all for profit and their pricing is laughable. You’ll be paying about 10% less than if you bought it new most of the time.I highly recommend the one right by Selby St. I also highly recommend the Vancouver Island Thrift Store by the Quarterway Pub, as well as the Hospice Shoppe, The Nanaimo Hospital Auxiliary Thrift Store, or the Salvation Army Thrift Store.

I liked the two Value Villages in Brandon MB and Victoria BC better. It's about the layout and space. In general, I prefer the Salvation Army stores because the prices are better. Value Village now has a reward system which doesn't help me much because I can't get to the store often enough due to the distance. I don't like the self checkout because I enjoy talking to the cashiers.

Prices are horrendous. I find many items with the original tags still on and VV is charging MORE. Last time I was there, I found a quilt with rips and yellow stains all over it for $20... ew. I think we should all agree to stop donating to them and go to local/community thrift stores.

This place is horrible. A woman posted a video of her buying a coat (overpriced, damaged leather jacket for $20!!) and a worker there had the nerve to tell her, after she paid for it, that she had to return it because it was UNDERPRICED!!!I shop at many thrift stores and I've never seen something so rude, disrespectful and ridiculous.

Decent enough inventory. Nice manager. Prices seem a little high these days. Not sure who’s pricing their books. There doesn’t seem to be a consistent pattern.I recently went in and was going to purchase a used copy of Jane Austen. The original sticker on the front said 3 for 10$, as is the price at chapters. Value village wanted 5.99$ so it was actually more to buy it used.

Value village buys their product from Canada diabetes. They buy bulk amount of items and are charged by weight. They then allow employees to create a price for the items based on “experience”. A lot of the prices are close to what you would pay for the item new. None of the items are new and most of them are extremely worn and damaged, yet that doesn’t reflect the price, they still charge an unfair amount. I recommend not spending your money here for a while and see if they will reduce their prices to a fair amount.

I've always gone to value village for cheap clothes but now I can't even afford it. The prices are ridiculous, it's truly mind boggling how expensive it is now for used clothes. Just Why? Value Village is unethically operated, and they exploit their customers. What a shame,

Ok so this shop is a Gem for unique 1 of a kind fashions for the entire family and at those oh so good prices! You know the deals on clothes there can soften the consequences of interest rate hikes and outrageous rents here in BC

Honestly , great selection here but one of the more pricey value village locations. I can’t justify their reasoning for prices when everything is donated to them. Unlike many other thrift stores that are run by donation, their sales are full profit and don’t go towards a charitable cost. They should be ashamed of themselves charging prices like this. (Photo for reference, dress I found today. This would be the same or more than the original cost. Shameful, VV!)

Most overpriced dumpster fire I have ever been to. Most items were priced near retail. Small Squishmallows $5.99-$9.99. Small monster trucks $3.99 (full retail). Old navy dresses $16.99. Pants with a torn out pocket $10.49. Dollarama trash cans $5.99 each. Don’t donate here, don’t shop here.

The staff really seem to enjoy their jobs, very cheerful and upbeat which is a nice environment to be in. The store was well organized and tidy.My only complaint would be pricing. Many clothing pieces and household items (especially dishware) were comparable to buying the same item brand new. People are shopping here because we can't afford the brand new items, so that doesn't really make sense to me.

Not great stuff and all overpriced. I saw a few things from the Dollar store with the original price ripped off and new price Double what it originally cost.

$7.99 for a beat to hell Bee Gees record?.give your collective heads a shake. You have absolutely no idea how to price that stuff. The prices of books and media are ridiculous bordering on gouging. You're a used store that makes a profit off donations. Smarten up and price things accordingly.
