This thrift store is one of my faves! Why?? Decent prices, loyalty card & 20% off coupon upon bringing in your unwanted goods for donation. They are giving back to the community with these little perks which is so generous as they don’t have to do this. It definitely helps with so many going through hard financial times these days. Definitely check them out and save yourself some $

This store isn’t bad. It would be nice to see more effort made towards the book section.

To correct a previous review, this is NOT the Salvation Army thrift store. That store is a couple blocks away. The Salvation Army is well-known for being one of the most generous supporters of their local communities - their CEO making one of the smallest wages of all the registered charities in Canada. Their thrift stores are run mostly by volunteers, reducing their overhead markedly. The VI thrift store is the opposite: all the profits go to the owner. Businesses can write off up to 75% of their charitable donations each year so why isn't she supporting a cause? Instead, she "allows homeless people to take stuff". Even if that's true, it's merely giving away an item she didn't pay for now and then. The community supports her with their donated items and purchases, but there is no community support in return. After recently moving here from the mainland and having to downsize, I have a lot of good stuff to donate but I would never consider giving it to this store. I've never returned to the store to look around either. Sometimes the principle of a situation has to take priority over prices.

This store is a dump! They've jacked their prices too. Yesterday I bought a plastic plant pot it was from the dollar store. It had a $3.50 price tag, she charged me $3.58 what a scam! NEVER going back NEVER donating there again. Just disgusted ? this place does not donate to charity, it all goes in the woman behind the counters pocket and she gets everything FREE!

Excellent thrift store with a customer loyalty program and staff that cares. Prices are fair and not necessarily firm. A number of different coloured price tags are used and every day 1 is chosen to be the 50% off colour. Bringing a donation also yields a 20% discount. I'm a big fan of supporting local business too!

I love this little store! Staff are great; prices are great! My only complaint is that it's a bit disorganized, but that is to be expected in a thrift store.
