As I am looking for a car now, and after visiting more than one dealership, I can tell that my visit today to Hyundai was much more comfortable and stress-free experience. Daniel was straightforward and professional, only providing the necessary information and asking relevant questions. The straightforward, no-pressure approach, allows customers to focus on the car and make decisions without feeling overwhelmed or manipulated. I left feeling well-informed without any unnecessary stress. I highly recommend this dealership if you're looking for a stress-free car-buying experience

After having an absolute lemon Sante Fe they did not sell to me, they went above and beyond helping me with the repairs. And eventually getting me out of that vehicle and into something much better.
I am forever grateful for the service staff there.

If I could give this dealership 6 stars, I would of. The service department went above and beyond my expectations to say the least. After dealing with our local Victoria Hyundai dealership for a few years, I decided to Google reviews for best rated Hyundai Dealership on Vancouver Island and Wheaton Hyundai Nanaimo came up right away. I initially tried to book my car at our local Victoria dealership, it took a few tries to get through as they never answer the phone or return left messages, but I eventually got through. I was quoted that the job would most likely take a full day to complete and I wouldn't be able to get it in for 2 months, I told them I would pass and try another Hyundai dealership. For a good laugh, colleagues of mine and I would always exchange each others horror stories whenever we had to get our vehicles serviced there.
After researching online, I instead called Wheaton Hyundai Nanaimo and they answered my call right away and and were very helpful after I explained to them my situation. I was able to book my car in for the following Saturday.... amazing.
The following Saturday I showed up to Wheaton Hyundai and pulled into their stunning brand new facility. I had the pleasure of being greeted by Scott, a service advisor there. Scott spent some time with me going over things as he already knew everything pertaining to my appointment, even before I checked in.
I expected it to take the majority of the day after what the Victoria dealership informed me, surprisingly within the hour they already had everything repaired and ready to go. Scott was generous enough to give me a special rate as I was dealing with an insurance claim...the discount was totally unexpected.
I can't thank Wheaton Hyundai Nanaimo and their service team enough for the amazing service I received. It is definitely worth the 90 minute drive to Nanaimo to have your vehicle serviced by them, if only we had a Wheaton Hyundai dealership here on the south island, what a difference that would make. If there is anyone on the island that needs their Hyundai serviced, I would 100% recommend Wheaton Hyundai Nanaimo.....worth the drive!

Janine is amazing in explaining the numbers and risks, John (Ferg) is a super chill and stress-free salesman. He's always available with great energy.

I shopped around in the mainland too, this location will go above and beyond to make sure you're their happy customer.
Upstairs has a much better coffee machine!

Never coming back here.
Husband brought my car for service, paid almost couple grand(‘coz they did the brakes too) about to drive back home, and odometer not working so he came back to the dealership, and there you go another couple hundred for a sparked plugs. Expensive and not even worth your time. They are lucky my husband is very nice and just let all these happened like nothing and paid whatever they ask.
Honestly, i just go here because it’s my car’s brand over the years! but i never feel welcome on this branch, probably because of the very awkward scenario happened before where we are scheduled for service, i came in, and have told me “no you are not schedule” the way the guy had said not even feel sorry for their messed up, i wasn’t treated nicely and just told me to come back another time, like they didn’t respect all my time to come down to their branch. Customer Service and to the mechanics who did my car???? (Very not impressed) NEVER COMING BACK

Be sure to ask the service department if there are any service memos in regards to your vehicle before getting any service done to your vehicle. the response to this review is untrue and completely unsatisfactory. It clearly states on the service memo that this work should be done for any effected vehicle brought into a dealership for any reason. This dealership service department refuses to service my vehicle under the service memo T9E posted by Hyundai Canada. The service will cost approximately $1,000 after taxes and I had to go to another dealership to get it done and paid for by Hyundai Canada. This is a major inconvenience for me but it's worth it so I never have to walk into this dealership again.
