Dan provided excellent service, with extra attention including bringing us warmed blankets and bonus tasting. A hidden gem on the Naramata bench, highly recommend this winery

We discovered Elephant Island Winery as I’m a big fan of Naramata Cider Co., which is associated with Elephant Island Winery. My family and I spent a couple of hours there doing a wine tasting and sharing a charcuterie board. It was a lovely experience. Some wineries can have a bit of a snobby feel, but Elephant Island had a great relaxed vibe while still maintaining a high level of professionalism. We had a toddler with us and we were very well accommodated with a small table of toys. We hope to visit again soon!

Awful service experience caused by a old cashier lady with white hair, glasses, and wearing a white poncho that was serving the cash register around 1pm-1:30pm. She was racist towards our entire group and gave us an attitude. Basically suggesting that we don’t belong there because we wanted to split 2 wine tasting between 4 people. She yelled across the room to the server lady so that everyone could hear. Horrible experience and would NOT recommend anyone wasting their hard earned money at this vineyard.Glasses for wine and water were both dirty.

DIRTY WINE GLASS and WATER glass. Review the photo. Food:- they don't offer food here. Service:- I specifically drove 14 hours from Calgary to this location as I remember 6 years ago this would my fondest memory of Kelowna. That changed very quickly. - This old lady with glasses, white shirt, and curly white hair that was managing the cash register around 1-130pm on August 11th 2023 was very rude to our party of "12". We told her we didn't need a table that large as not everyone in our group drinks and wanted to explore the winery. She started to give us an attitude and said that we can't have the rest standing around the winery. Could it be racism ? I 1000% believe so. Seeing that we were a group of Asian people she definitely didn't give us the service that she gave to other parties. My family was really excited to come here as majority of them was their first time here. 100% would NEVER come here again. I would recommend anyone that is not white to come her as this place is RACIST towards no white peopleHorrible service. Shameful. Awful experience. The ONLY upside was our wine tasting lady. She was very nice, but due to the sour experience of that cashier lady. I will never come back. Our party was about to buy 10 bottles of wine to bring back to Calgary and lucky we brought our services elsewhere. Ambiance:- terrible. Due to the experience above.

We pulled over for this winery purely based on the name not knowing they spcialized in fruit wines. What a lovely surprise. We did the fuit and traditional wine tastings between the two of us and shared. I would reccomend just doing the fruit. The server was very engaging and told us stories of the family and property and indulged us in an extra taste of one that wasn't supposed to be included. There were activities for the kids and they were given sparkling apple juice to feel part of the experience. The patio is beautiful and there is plenty of shade.

Always a good time at Elephant Island.Tasting is $10.00/person, non-refundable for 4 pours. Always two flight options.- Gin botanical cider - we were offered a cider to start. Light, subtle gin flavour.- The Rockstar ($10.00) - we were given 2021 pear, 2021 black currant, 2022 framboise fortified, 2022 apricot dessert and 2022 cassis. All their fruit wines are delicious. Only the pear was light in flavour.

Every time we pass through the Okanagan, we stop to pick up more Black Currant wine. It has such a unique taste and really is a topic of conversation whenever we crack one open. We love the puckery flavor and the atmosphere of the patio. It's great that they have a little play area as well, so our little 11 month old was entertained while we did a quick tasting of some of the other wines they offer!

We love elephant island! This is an awesome winery with the best fruit wines I have ever tasted. The atmosphere is intimate and the service is top notch. Also, the pricing might be the best on the Naramata Bench. Highly recommend!

Splendid fruit wine ? our favourite and must visit winery in Okanagan! Our favourites are blackberry and black currant wine, fruity and a bit acidic, however, it’s so smooth and appetizing with any foods!

What a great first up experience to taste fruit wines. A beautiful outdoor seating area to try their tasting experience. Thanks Stella for a wonderful stop at Elephant Island winery.
