  I'd avoid this place if possible for a winter tire change. My car came back imbalanced, when I raised it with customer service, they said I'd have to wait 4 days before it could be fixed. I asked again and they managed to fit me in the next day. I was declined a refund and wasted my whole next day to have it rebalancd. It seems that someone forgot to balance the car originally, no refund given, no apology no admisson of fault. Take your car to somewhere else where they have the time to do work properly. Not worth $165 of my time.

  Our car rental had a flat tire. Enterprise informed us that they partnered with Kal for repairs. We called them on Oct 1 - first thing in the AM. We were informed it was one of the most busiest days of the year for winter tire deadline😖 even though they were very busy, they took us in and made the repair on the tire. Much appreciated! thanks again!

  Rolled over a screw at 9AM, called to see if they could squeeze me in, tires were fixed by 1015. Have come here multiple times for tire changes too and they are always great. Won’t be going anywhere else!

  While on a long road trip, I had a flat tire that required tires to be special ordered from a shop 5000km away. Want to thank the manager, Cory Sokol for his utmost professionalism and help during this stressful time. They kept the vehicle secure for over a week and installed them promptly when the new tires arrived.

  Got a nail and slow leak on a Saturday of long weekend while visiting Nelson. The Kal Tire team showed us amazing service. Arrived without notice 1pm, they squeezed us in despite a full shop, had the car back before closing that day. So grateful. Thank you E!

  First time taking my vehicle to Kal tire in Nelson BC.
  Tried to book my 2010 Chevy Aveo (not a high end car) in for front end work. I believe lower ball joints, bushings and potentially front wheel bearings need attention.
  Told that they book it in for an inspection first to assess the vehicle. No problem there. Makes sense.
  It got booked in for mid June and off I went. Within a half hour I received a message saying I need to call back to discuss details.
  When I called back the gentleman I booked it in with said that their technician is going away for 6 months and they are only booking “easy brake jobs” so they won’t be able to do an inspection, let alone the mechanical work.
  I used to work in the automotive business and this seems fishy to me. A shop has no qualified technician for half a year?
  Does the shop not want to work on a 15 year old, kind of crappy car? What’s the deal?
  I’m a local of the area for 20 years now and this was my first and (seemingly) last time trying to get service at Kal tire Nelson.
  Not particularly impressed.

  Had a road trip out west from Winnipeg and these guys fixed a puncture on a 21inch tire in good time as well. Friendly staff and great price on the fix!

  We are from out of town and stopped in first thing on a Saturday morning. Even though they were slammed for the day they were able to fit us in and happily send us on our continuing road trip. THANK YOU!!!

  I booked an appointment online to have the seasonal change-over done... I arrived early and the guys were able to get me in straight away. They called about 30 minutes later saying it was ready. They checked my brake pads and advised they were good and that I'd get another season out of the winter tires (Hakka R2's purchased at KAL Tire in Regina). I was pleased with the service. My last 3 sets of tires were purchased at KAL and although there have been the odd hiccup (after a seasonal change in Regina, one nut was only finger-tight when I got back home - I called and let them know). I have heard some not so great experiences with KAL however in my dealings with them in two locations I have been overall pleased. I seldom give 5 stars unless the service has been exceptional.

  Came to nelson on a road trip. Got a nail in one of my tires. Called this Kal tire and they took care of me right away. I went on with my day within 30 mins. Thank you to the Kal Tire Nelson team, you guys are awesome!
