The shelves are always messy, coffee cups are frequently abandoned in the shelving and there is only one garbage can.
Every time i make a purchase i am harassed over a store credit card i do not want.
There are rarely enough checkouts open.
Everyone working there looks miserable.
And worst of all, products keep being moved around and it's impossible to find anything

Great store. It was literally packed and super busy, but Kartic still took the time to help me out. He was really nice, knew everything about store, and didn’t rush even with everything going on. Really appreciate the help and great service.

Visiting from Vancouver Island and am very disappointed in this inadequate Walmart store in Nelson . Staff don’t seem to know where a lot of products are (not that there are a lot ) They give a vague answer when asked where an item might be and definitely don’t go out of their way to take you to where the item your asking about is . I agree with previous customer critiques. Three times I visited while in Nelson and each time younger members of staff are busy socializing with each other .

There are a lot of clothes on sale, but you can't return what you buy on clearance, so check what you buy carefully. Customer service told me that.

I had an amazing experience at Walmart thanks to Shajana. She went above and beyond to help me and made sure I left completely satisfied. Her professionalism, friendliness, and dedication truly stood out. It’s rare to meet someone who cares so much about customers, and Walmart is lucky to have such a hardworking and positive team member.

Recently I came in looking for a trellis for a plant.
Asked four employees, two of whom worked in the gardening department where I could find a trellis. Three barely spoke English, one was texting, one was blasting Punjabi music on his phone and it was very clear none were interested in helping. Three out of four employees did not know what a trellis was and looked like deer in headlights when I spoke to them. I was passed on from one individual to another, wasted nearly 30 minutes of my day, and eventually asked to talk to someone who spoke English. This employee checked inventory and they were out of stock. Terrible customer service.

I recently had an excellent experience at the Nelson Walmart while seeking a refund for my TV. I lost my receipt, which could have made the process complicated, but Shajana and Chirag went above and beyond to help me. They took the time to look up my purchase and managed to get my refund processed in just a few minutes.
Their professionalism, patience, and dedication to customer service were truly impressive. It's rare to encounter such a caring team! Thank you, Shajana and Chirag, for making my experience so positive. Highly recommend this location for their exceptional service!

Possibly the worst Walmart I've been too.
Often dirty.
Often disorganized.
Some staff are friendly, but customer service is horrible as only the so called 'Manager' has any power to do anything other than ring stuff through. And today she was nowhere to be found.
Why have people at the customer service desk that can't actually give customer service??
Not to mention poorly stocked shelves when one could see the product in boxes sitting there.
I dread going into this Walmart location..

We drove down to nelson for a specific automotive part that was available on the website for 39$, found the part, and when we went to pay it was 79. The level of rudeness we were met with, when we suggested they should honor the web price and not charge us nearly double was ridiculous. I even suggested I purchase online for pick up, but was informed I would have to wait a few days before the part, that was in my hand, would be available.
