Great selection of Asian foods considering the small size of the shop. Sauces, teas, dishes, steamers, dim sum, bbq pork and duck and your regular selection of corner store groceries.

Mixed feelings. On one hand it's a fun store with lots of exotic products, on the other the staff rotates regularly and I've had mixed interactions depending on who was at the till.My main suggestion for improvement is that I've found most staff members don't know the product selections very well, this is a bit of a problem as many of the items are exotic (with mysterious names sometimes, for example, along the lines of 'dried white fungus') and often written entirely in Chinese or Korean. It would be great if I could get more information about all the cool ingredients they stock.Prices on imported snacks range from reasonable to exorbitant depending on the item. They stock dried Korean red chili flakes for Kimchi and premade kimchi sauce I gotta add another star ♥

Wing's is a Nelson institution as the only shop where you can find a great selection of authentic Asian ingredients reliably. Honestly, going in is a bit of a trip. It's in a cool old heritage building, and you can get everything from China Flat shoes to chopsticks, like ten kinds of miso soup, frozen dim sum, and -- in January -- lucky red packets :) It's super fun to go and just browse or get some tasty groceries :)
