Though they have nice stuff sometimes. It seems like the pricing is more expensive than a normal thrift. They even price books individually… that’s obsurd.
There is spca thrift stores in other parts of the lower and upper main land that price the books no more then 5$…
As a thrifter by hobby. I can suggest that if you are looking for a “deal”, this isn’t the place to check out.

I've been donating and shopping at this location for year.
Staff are always courteous and I've scored some great deals. Best to call ahead and discuss your donation before bringing it down.

Thrift store is very well kept but the owner is not very nice to the employees or volunteers who works for free. Very disappointing that you can’t even the treat the people nice who are working free for you!! I will be not stepping in this store!

Walked into the store really excited as I love to Thrift. A smell that the lady at the till excitedly who gave me the dirtiest look I've ever seen and told me that I was unwelcome in her store. I don't know what she was prejudiced against but she absolutely was. So I will never be coming back to the store again and it missed out on possibly a huge sale.

This is my favourite thrift shop in new west. The items are well organized, carefully curated and clean. The window displays are beautiful and I never end up leaving without finding some treasures.

I have been to this thrift store many times and unfortunately the owner Judy is very rude to her staff and customers. I brought some donations in and as soon as I walked in the door she rolled her eyes at me. I was so hurt as I have spent a lot of money here. I have seen and heard het being very bossy and rude to people and staff volunteers on several occasions and have decided that I can no longer support her business. I love animals so much and wanted to support the cause, but can no longer support this thrift store due to the owners attitude and rude behaviour :(

Went to this SPCA for the first time today and loved it. The lady at the checkout was so kind and friendly. And she told me that they wash all donated clothings before selling them. ☺️♥️🫠

I have been shopping at the SPCA Thrift Store, New West for over 2 years.I regularly receive a warm greeting!The staff is very friendly and helpful. Unlike a lot of thrift stores, there is no weird smell when you enter the store.I mentioned my observation to the owner and found out things are washed and ironed or steamed. Everything is clean.I continuously manage to find more than I planned on…going home with many purchases such as clothing, kitchen items, shoes and so much more.I highly recommend checking it out. It’s a wonderful way of getting great quality items for a fraction of the cost of new!

The manager is VERY RUDE, the prices are too expensive, and only a very SMALL percentage goes to the SPCA. This is a private owned store. While trying an item with her, she literally yelled at me: "Don't you know how to read?", and started to spell loudly a word. Another time she yelled to a poor Arab woman on the line to pay, because she misunderstood and thought that it was her turn to pay, when the customer in front left (and then returned). She even rolled her eyes and said something racist. Who the hell do they think they are to treat their own customers like dirt in front their other customers. I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN! Presumptuous & snobbish women selling over priced items. And, let me remind you that only a small percentage goes actually for the SPCA. The SPCA should not associate with them.

This is supposed to be a THRIFT store. The pricing is ridiculous. Incredibly overpriced and the unwelcoming, sanctimonious attitude of the cashier made it an all-around unpleasant experience. I will not shop here again.

Their valuation of some items is questionable. Whoever is pricing items is not doing diligence and just basing it off the highest price they can find online.Prices are just OK but mostly on the high side.Not my first choice when it comes to thrift stores.

These women are almost always rude. Every time I’ve visited this store there has been some sort of incredibly rude behaviour. I’ve noticed a definite rude overtone towards non European peoples.Don’t donate here
