Caribbean Market is a small shop located in New Westminster. They sell all sorts of goodies from different places in the Caribbean. For me though, as someone whose Mom came from Trinidad, this place is my "go to" for Trinidadian foods. I like coming here whenever I need to stock up on dried sorrel which I use to make a Trinidadian drink called Sorrel. They also sell Sorrel syrup and ready made bottled Sorrel for those who prefer an instant beverage. I've found from past experience though that Sorrel always tastes better when it's homemade.I was excited to see Peardrax and Sea Moss on the shelves. (More Caribbean beverages that I drank when I was in Trinidad) They also have Chadon Beni (a popular condiment in Trinidad), frozen roti wraps, Callaloo, Scotch Bonnet peppers, salted cod fish (something my mom has a taste for), and bottles of Limacol. (Used in the Caribbean as a skin refresher). There are a ton of other offerings in their store but those ones are the most familiar to me.Service: GoodParking: Free parking on the streetLocation: 804 12th St., New Westminster

Great spot for those of you missing home, (or those of you who like me are missing the cooking of your former partners/in-laws). You'll find goat meat and roti skins over in the icebox next to a bunch of different patties in big bags. You can get a number of things from Newfoundland here too, lots of stuff with the purity label, salt fish and buckets of beef and SAVORY fresh dried. Sometimes they even have some live stuff in little pots you can plant at home.

They indicated on Google and on the store’s door (see pic) that they're open 12-5 pm on Sundays. I came at 12noon and stood for about 45 minutes (then 15 mins waiting on a bus across the street). Another person was here before me, and he stayed about 30minutes. About 6-7 other persons came and left. They should remove Sundays from Google and on the store sign.I don't think I will ever return to this store. I'd rather pay a premium elsewhere.

It's really good to have someplace to buy Caribbean food, but the owner needs to take better care of the place. It's really dirty and in need of cleaning.

Completely undependable. Their message indicates they are open from 10 AM weekdays. I arrived at 10:30 on a Thursday and they are closed. I won’t bother returning.

This is not worth it was there waiting for over an hour and they still didn't open. They should remove the signs that they have for there opening hours.

My go to place to get products from Newfoundland. They carry purity products, savory all amongst all the products from the Carribean.
