I've been coming here for years. I was recommended by a tow truck driver.
These people are so honest, reliable, and their prices are good.
My turn signal stopped working even after replacing the bulb. I took it in and on a cursory glance they said I needed a part that would be around $400. When I went to pick it up they told me it had become unplugged and there wasn't anything wrong with it. They could have just lied but they didn't.
Highly recommend. The only problem is they are busy and you might have to wait 7-10 days to get in, especially during the summer when everyone is going away.

We had a brake job at Hyack, the pads seemed “off” but we attributed that to just being new. They didn’t get better and we finally thought we needed to take it in and get it checked out. They replaced them as a warranty PLUS zero charge for labour! We were very happy, as usual. Fantastic customer service♥️ would highly recommend. Thanks Hyack!

They are honest, very fair with pricing and I trust them. There is a reason they are always busy. I have been looking for a truly honest mechanic shop for so many years and finally found it.
Could have easily charged me more on multiple occasions and never have.

If I was asked to describe Hyack Tire in one word it would be "integrity." I've been going to this garage for longer then I can remember and they've never let me down. Recently I went to another garage ( on a weekend when Hyack is closed) and was advised that I would need a complete rack and pinion replacement at a cost north of $2,000. After getting over the sticker shock I decided to bite the bullet and take the car into to the trusted team at Hyack for the job. You can probably imagine my delight when the owner Dave called me shortly after and let me know that it was only a boot and not the full rack an pinion that needed to be replaced and the cost would be a fraction of the original estimate from the "other" garage. I strongly recommend Dave and his team at Hyack for your automotive needs.

I literally cannot say enough good things about Hyack Tire. I've been going to them for over 10 years - and they are always reliable, honest, and straightforward to deal with. Family owned and operated and just salt of the earth. I couldn't recommend them more for any mechanical needs. I've chased cheaper prices before but ended up regretting the lack of service, runaround and confusion. And it goes a long way to trust your mechanic. Thank you!

Our car didn't start the other day and we were close to Hyack so we had it towed there. They spent a day and a half with it and the car started every time they tried. They couldnt find anytbing wrong with it. When I went to pick it up, they were so kind and didn't even charge me for their time. I was a first time customer and wasn't expecting this at all. They were very honest with everything they tried and didn't look for other problems to get my business. I would 100% recommend them. Our car is running just as it did before, we still don't know why it wouldn't start that one day! But we will be back when the car decides to act up again.

The car had a brake problem, making it impossible to drive. When I called, they were incredibly friendly and managed to squeeze me in right away. They fixed the issue quickly, and I was able to pick up my car on the same day. They were honest about the problem and the cost of the repairs, which turned out to be quite reasonable. I didn't feel pressured into buying anything extra. Overall, it was a fantastic experience with excellent customer service, and I trusted them completely as a mechanic shop.

Excellent and honest service, reasonable rates AND complimentary advice. David and Hyack staff are always accommodating and go above and beyond to make their customers happy. One time, David offered to have my fully flat tire re-nflated, and one of his staff came with an air tank to my garage, which is a block away from their shop. He didn't even charge me extra for this. Thank you Hyack Tire staff! A true gem in NW!

Have been going to Hyack for a few years now and have always had friendly and great service. Dave's always there to do a quick check if you pull in with an issue. He'll give you an honest opinion and in one case sent me to a different shop (muffler) as he knew they'd be able to do the same job for much less given their expertise in the area. What more can you ask for.
