Whenever I come to Machi’s African Market, it’s like stepping into a teleportation machine and I find my way back home! Especially for my fellow West Africans who can never seem to find our products in your local grocery store, this is the spot to come when you’re in the area!
Not only will you get what you’ve been missing, but you get served with the BEST attitude from the store owner! Whenever I’m there, I can always expect a smile and the welcoming presence that she emits! No matter what, she is always there to remind me and my family to keep a positive outlook, and I wish her and this market nothing but good fortune!

The owner is more than nice! We had a great and meaningful conversation! Her merchandise is great and of high quality. Amongst other things, the palm oil and peanut oil are fresh and smell so good!! Highly recommended for all your African needs.

I have lived in Victoria, BC, for 6 years now, and I've never been able to really find a good african market store in my area. After going to Vancouver on a trip, I decided to stop by this store to see the inventory in person. This place has everything I would expect and more. The woman who helped me was awesome and knowledgeable. I found the curry and chicken powders I haven't been able to find in Victoria. I will definitely be returning to this shop as I feel confident I will be able to make Jollof rice and curry dishes with the proper ingredients from this store. The stock in this store is perfect for all the dishes I want to make

As a business owner I usually like to support other businesses within our communities.The owner of the store is super professional and always available during store hours. Two of my packages arrived there and I recieved one of them. The lady seemed irritated and offended that I asked for my second package. She didn't even look through the packages again. After seeing all the negative UPS reviews here, I am surprised they are still supported by UPS. Very unprofessional and uncleanly store.

Rude as hell every time I'm baffled that they have any any good reviews at all practically get yelled at every time I stop by to pick up a package. Would never come back if I didn't have to. They do not seem to know the meaning of customer service or they just don't care because they know we can't avoid picking up packages. Very short tempered.

Thought they were opened on Sunday’s because that what it shows on the website. I travelled all the way there and the store was closed.

They are selling expired Sodas, when I brought it out to her she said they don’t sell expired products still when I had the soda it was all flat and expired. They should know selling expired products is a health hazard and not something to be taken lightly.
