On behalf of my wife who visits regularly, I do occasionally. She always finds something she didn't know we needed to wear, to use.I think she just likes a bargain and enjoys chatting with the lady volunteers. Space is a little tight but it's because there's always lots of things to choose from. Too bad they're closing at the end of January '23. The building is being torn down I believe. A loss for North Vancouver.

They have a very strict COVID capacity limit of just two people in the store at a time but yet the person at the door can't seem to keep their mask on. The first time I went there I was looking around and the greeter volunteer that was working there came within fewer than 6 feet of me and pulled off her mask to talk. I'm not a very confrontational person but I had to tell her to step back for my own safety. The other time I was there I saw the door greeter enforcing the capacity limit with her mask under her chin. And this wasn't just when she was facing outside the door where there is fresh air that can be blown into the store through the open door -- she also did it when facing away from the door into the indoor air of the store. She also rushed someone who was looking through the book section, telling her her time was up, despite the store not being particularly cramped inside. It has more room than for just two people at a time, even during COVID. Go to a different hospital auxiliary store in the Lower Mainland or, better yet, shop at thrift stores like RAPS in Richmond or just hit up your local Salvation Army.

Only 3 ppl allowed and no limited time in the store (it's possibly the worse combination) be prepared cash and debit only allowed. I want to support the thrift stores and wish I could do more, I feel sorry for the volunteers and the charitable organizations who depends on the high volume sales.

The least gracious staff I've ever encountered accepting donations. I will find additional ways to support my community, but donating and shopping here will NOT be one of them.

"This is a wonderful thrift shop. All of the volunteers were exceptionally kind and made me feel so welcome. I was given wonderful customer service by Erin who made me feel special and beautiful, which are always nice ways to feel. I ended up with a perfect coat, beautiful new dress and 3 new pairs of earrings. The wait (only 4 in at a time due to Covid) was well worth it. Thank you to everyone who worked together to make such a lovely shop come to life."-Lisa

NPO and volunteer based, everybody there is very welcoming and friendly. Staff chat with all of the regulars which is heartwarming to see. Lots of sales & great prices for items - would definitely come here again when in the area.

I love this thrift shop that directly supports LG Hospital and is run by friendly and helpful volunteers. The store is clean and organized and I almost always find some trinket or treasure for a mere fraction of what I would pay in retail sales.
