Canadian Tire consistently provides excellent service. Today, I want to express my gratitude for the exceptional attention to detail that made all the difference. I visited the Main Street Canadian Tire store seeking guidance, and Operator 603603 went above and beyond typical customer service. He not only provided a detailed explanation but also took the initiative to check other stores for the product I was searching for. His professionalism was commendable. Additionally, the store was well-organized, and the staff was very helpful.

They cancelled my first appointment on me, the day of, then forgot about the rescheduled one. I was told they could fit me in, as if they were doing me some favour after they forgot about my appointment, but that it would take 2 hours (!) for a seasonal tire changeover, which as ridiculous as that is, they actually would have had anyway if they had remembered the appointment and taken my truck in when I first got there. Standing in the waiting area for 30 min, two other customers were there. One lady who said she had to keep coming back to have the same problem fixed and another who had been there for 3.5 hours and was getting exasperated. Take your business elsewhere.

I brought my suv to this location after an ill advised recommendation from a friend.It had been making concerning noises, and whenever it is cold / wet the entire inside becomes wet as well, when it is below 0 it also freezes inside the car and I have to scrape the inside as well.They were kind enough to say I could leave my vehicle as a walk in, because they were booked out for weeks.I dropped it off knowing it could take a few days. Two days later they called to say they couldn't find anything, and would try again the following day.Two days after that I called, as there was no word, and they told me "Oh we got busy and forgot to call you, we can't find or see anything wrong.... but we wont charge you".Thank god they didn't charge me... Frustrated, I picked up my car. I don't even think they drove it out of the parking lot, because it instantly was making strange noises with the engine. On the drive home it started having "metal banging" noises from the engine.I had it towed to a reputable mechanic, and low and behold, my entire transmission is dead.....I also can point out a place where there is a crack in the weather stripping on the doors, but they "didn't see that either".I guess I am lucky they are incompetent, or I may have been quoted 2x the amount if they did notice my transmission needed to be replaced.Do not go here for anything but tires.

The worst car battery in Canada is absolutely garbage. Their only response is a 5-year warranty, implying you'd need to replace your battery over 100 times in 5 years!!

Clean and organized even though I didn’t quite find the windshield washer fluid immediately. Checking out was easy. Wish there is a place we can put plastic recycling in store.

The CT Triangle website is an excellent e-commerce HUB. I really like the aisle locator feature and the inventory availability seems to be accurate.The store clerks are friendly but as with many Retailers are NOT generally knowledgeable nor do they have any Authority to fix a problem.I shopped at the North Van store and it has impressive displays and great selection. A nice place to shop.HOWEVER, the CT self check out is a DISASTEROverall I'd rate CT North Van better than average and a nice place to shop.5 Stars requires new self checkout system

As always I had success finding what I needed at my local Canadian Tire. I was able to locate the item via the website and then had a staff member unlock the caged area where the item was stocked. He was helpful, ensuring that I had the correct item number. The bonus was that the item was even on sale!

I recently made a trip to Canadian Tire, expecting the typical courteous Canadian shopping experience. To my dismay, the staff were notably rude and indifferent. I spent a good amount of time wandering the aisles, hoping someone would notice my evident need for assistance. The absence of responsiveness was astounding, especially for a retail establishment of Canadian Tire's reputation.Taking the initiative, I approached multiple staff members to voice my concerns and hopefully get the assistance I needed. To my shock, instead of being met with understanding or an apology, one of the employees sharply retorted, "Dude! What's your problem? I'm busy here!" This response was not only unprofessional but also an outright dismissal of a customer's genuine concerns.The experience left a sour taste in my mouth. It's unfortunate to see such a decline in customer service, especially in a place like Canadian Tire, which has always been a go-to for many Canadians. I had always held the store in high regard, but this incident has made me reconsider future visits.While everyone can have a bad day, the blatant disregard and subsequent rudeness were beyond justifiable. Customers deserve respect and attentive service, especially in an establishment as renowned as Canadian Tire. It's my sincere hope that the management addresses this issue, as no customer should ever leave feeling belittled or dismissed.

I often drifted in to buy parts and tools for my old pickup and liked the friendly service that you never get at Lordco or Bumper to Bumper. This year I got the Canadian Tire VIP card which was a fantastic deal. I feel bad when the survey asked if anyone made my visit special because I don’t need anyone now. I walk through the doors, pull up my C.T. App and search for what I am looking for. Batteries (Isle 13), electrical Isle 56. And, more importantly they are right where the app says and always in stock. Take note Rona get organized or you will be out of business soon as you are hopeless at stock control and customer service.
