I like this Choices location. It's not super chaotic, and I like that they have a little eating area and of course lots of .. choices!

My rating is based on the fact that the store only offers HUGE carts (Costco size) which are difficult to manoveur and way too big for a store this size. And, a looney is required (though there is no sign). When I was checking out, I couldn't reach deep enough into the cart to retrieve some of my purchases. Then, on leaving, the cart jammed, and I didn't even get my looney back! I watched another potential customer walk away...she was on a cane, and couldn't manage the cart. Why oh why would you offer only extra-large carts? I enjoy shopping there, but won't be until you consider the needs of your shopping customers.

Loved my time spent here. I’ve lived on the north shore for 5 years and had never been. Will be back !

Please stop bringing in seedless watermelons unless you are bringing in the regular watermelons as well. Gmo seedless watermelons are gross and flavorless.

It's set on angles, so if got OCD it's not your store. Good healthy options here, if check out is kinda slow I'd say have some grapes ?

Unfortunately the pandemic ruined this place. Used to be a great lunch spot. Now it's a ghost town and they're not trying anymore. Expensive place for no reason. I think the save on foods down the road syphoned off their lunch time customers.

The manager, Chris Butler, is notorious for treating his staff terribly. If you ever wonder why staff turnover is this high, he is the reason. Head office doesn't care because he pulls 70 hour weeks on salary. Sad.

I’ve been shopping at the North Van Choices since it opened. The customer service here is the most exceptional of store bar none. I’ve discovered so many great new Canadian products thanks to staff suggestions and when I had a toddler in tow they’d always go out of their way to make us feel welcome. The manager is always pitching in at the cash to make sure the line ups are short and setting the bar high for the rest of his staff. Could not recommend more!

I like Choices grocery stores and i really appreciate the variety of products with the focus on local goods etc - i will absolutely keep shopping here. That being said, multiple times now I've gotten to my car to load up/all the way home and found the bread i just bought was mouldy, or some other problem. I've also looked at the plants they have outside this time of year and have almost bought some but they are covered in aphids - yikes. Also i got a loyalty card and handed in the registration sheet but even now like 8 months later, they still tell me it's not registered as if im the one that needs to do something about it.

I decided to come over here recently for a quick small lunch because I would always go over to the Salvation Army thrift across the street from this location. I went to have their cold Cajun chicken with a dip to it. While I have no good comparison for it because I never ate it but I'd say though that this is actually not bad. What sauce it came with in the package is something I forgot to ask them about but it did increase the overall taste of it. I also bought a can of Coca Cola to go along with it to wash it all down and the total damage of it was close to $9. Yes, it was a bit of a big YIKES in terms of price because for the quantity (there was like 7 to 8 pieces) and quality of the chicken you got wasn't really great but it does hit the spot just fine if you are in a hurry and is a little bit hungry doesn't want an actual full meal (though it would've been a better deal if it were). The reason why I'm giving this place a 4 stars regardless (the 1 less star was because of the price of the chicken, it tasted like it should costed customers no more then $5 but it was $7 before any applicable taxes) was primarily because the employe that checked out my items was very nice. :)

They may not have very many staff there but every staff member they do have there is the cream of the crop. They are super helpful and very attentive! Plus that mango passion pudding cup is to DIE for ?
